Pardon my suspension ignorance....what is pintop? Just a name or something suspension specific?

I think it also has to do with how the shock is mounted - someone smarter may correct me but I think I read that somewhere.

Pintop is a play on the front shock mounting. The front shocks are a pin top style mount - i.e. threaded pin on top of shock goes through hole in coil bucket with bushings.

I washed it today...
Over the weekend I washed, clayed, and waxed it. I have had it for a little over a month now (still <800 miles). So far I have:
Installed View attachment 42089WeatherTech floor mats
Installed N-Fab side steps
2 usb power supplies, 1 in each rear door
had front windows tinted
applied fluid film to the underside
installed new LED headlights and signals (parking lights are white, but flashes orange)
Installed grill lights - come on with cab lights

Oh yeah, I took off the RAM door badges, the 4x4 sport stickers, the 4x4 tailgate badge, and the HEMI badges.
Looks so good! Makes me want roof lights now. UGH! Off to the mopar site I go! :) haha

Living in Arizona, this is a must. The A/C on these trucks is not all that, I may do that heater core trick, but for now. Did all windows, including the front windshield in Ceramic tint!
The rear glass is only smoked and provides no heat/UV protection. Kids in the back seat are like 'we can feel the sun! It's hot back here!'

Well.. that is gone now! ;) Looks so good! Black on black!

After the 1st half of our trip from TN to Nor-cal, lots of rain, dirt and 2,750 miles of towing at 70 Mph the filthy beast finally got a good washing by me. Here we are for the next month.

I applied this when new 2 years ago and just did another treatment. Have used it on older vehicles with great results so it's more preventative at this point.

I got it on a little thick on one mirror housing and by the time I got back to wipe the excess (needs~5 minutes to set up), the sun came out from behind the clouds and cured it more than I expected. I couldn't wipe it off as it was now tacky so I wet it down and wiped. I'll have to do that one over again as it's a little streaky. First time I ever had an application issue with this stuff. Pro tip, do it under cover.

Had the front window tint matched up a little better to the rear with Xpel ceramic tint on the windows all the way around. Polished and ceramic coated the exterior and protected the interior and put on weigh safe hitch. Previously added 2 ft to my driveway width so the kids wouldn't ding the doors getting out of the other car. That little extra space makes a big difference. I'm really liking the indigo frost interior with the billet silver.

For those that are getting front tint to match the rear. I also got my tinter to add 70% Ceramic on the rear and back glass. Really improved heat rejection and still matches well!

Window tint and it's first hand wash. Also found out during wash the ceramic coating I paid extra for didn't happen, no water beading and the dust was stuck like glue to the paint.

I went back to the stock tire size after taking a nail in the sidewall of one of my 35's :eek::eek:
feels like a sports car doesn't it...I swap back and forth between my Toyo 35's and stock tires just depending on what I am doing and I love the way stock feels. I don't feel such a difference going from stock to 35's but sure do the other way around.
