Reading through this Forum looks like I created a product useful to only those who find a need to be prepared when finally taking delivery of their much anticipated new RAM!
Excitement of finally getting that phone call from the dealer and arriving to pick this baby up can sometimes make ones mind go delusional... LOL
Lots of individuals purchasing their truck from Mark Dodge in LA and driving their new truck across country. I for one wouldn't want to begin this journey not knowing if my fluid levels were topped off, or happen to be involved in an accident while trying to program the UConnect5 System while driving down the road and remembered I forgot to add this vehicle to my insurance policy.
The list I originally created did included an operational check; lights, fluids, tire pressure, etc. It also included looking for transport damage, but just as important were things we need to do to ensure we were ready to hit the road prior to leaving the dealership. IE, UConnect5 Updates, Extended Warranties, Operation of the UConnect5 System, Obtaining Insurance, setting up APPS and writing down Passwords.
Some people don't require a Checklist for Life and it shows and some people can't live life without Checklists.
If it works for you Use It! If it doesn't don't bother! Why make others feel like their efforts are useless?
