Ditto for me. I do wish I could schedule the transmission dip stick tube and vent hose though. I found my dipstick popped out once already. I have checked it several times since and it was fine so may have been a fluke. But still....
I disconnected mine also ! I'm not parking my $80k truck outside until they get parts for us guys last on the list !

I guess for any of us that are unlucky enough to have a failure and burn our $80k truck down stellantis can buy us a new one right ?
Replacing a burned down truck is peanuts to them, especially since there’s a 0.0018% chance of it happening, compared to the $13 a day they have to pay the dealerships for each truck that is sitting on a lot with a stop sale.
Figure there’s maybe 10,000 trucks with a stop sale, and that’s $130,000 a day they are forking over for trucks sitting with stop sale orders.

Highly recommend everyone call their dealer and get on the wait list. If you are waiting for these to be in stock its going to be a long time. Same goes for the transmission dipstick recall, get on the waiting list and have them call you when it comes in. Outside of this drive your truck as you normally would and don't stress..........

I am waiting on a new 2022 Ram 3500. I have not heard an update on the intake heater grid relay recall for the 2022s. They are holding my truck until the recall can be completed. Anybody know when they will actually ship out the fix?

Oddly, had the truck in today for an unrelated issue. When I went to pick it up he said oh and we did the recall for you today too. I said what recall, he said the grid heater relay. I didn't even ask or say anything. This is on a 2021.

Must have had an extra on hand after doing any on the lot and the 2022s? It is confusing. Reminds me of the 1st relay recall where I contacted the dealership and they said the first appointment they had for it was 3 months out. I took the appt., but brought the truck in the next day for oil and filters and they did the recall then.

With this recall, you’ll probably start seeing stuff like this- depending on the dealership, how many they’re getting vs how many they’re repairing, owners with other than 23s reporting having the recall done.
Similar to how the fuel pump recall was for 2020 first, but some 2019 owners reported having it done before parts were available for them.

Hearing a grid heater recall coming out this week 2-16-2023. Anyone else hear about this ? Anyone know what they will replace or change ?
Took my truck in for electrical issues on the 4th and got the recall on the 5th. they made the recall for all 21-22-23s and have the parts ready for the 23s but are waiting for the older trucks. the service advisor told me about the recall on the 4th and about the parts issue. Supposedly its the relay that needs to be replaced. Its the 4th recall I've had for my 22 Bighorn. FYI and anyone else having this problem my 4x4 switch and front/rear park sense sometimes don't light up or work. For some reason it has to do with the transfer case switch, I cant imagine how the two items are tied together and neither do the mechanics. Listen for a clunk sound when you shift out of park, sounds like a linkage issue but they are going to check the transfer case because of the 4x4 switch does'nt light up whether its in 2wd or 4wd.

I hope he is right too. My dealer said middle of April. Ram Cares says end of April and if you call the recall hot line they will tell you June.

It’s gonna be okay, your truck will just catch on fire and maybe take out your house and anyone in it at the time. From RAMs perspective its better for your life and valuables to burn up in flames than their profits. As minuscule as a chance there is for it to catch fire the advice of “park it outside and not in the garage” certainly isn’t super reassuring.
Thoughts and prayers.

Love, Ram Cares

I custom ordered a 2022 ram back in Mar 2022. It was built in 3 months and then sat for 8 months waiting to ship( found out it had a stop sale recall on it from Ram). I canceled it and we ordered a 2023 in NOV 22. It was built and shipped to dealer in MAR 23 and has a stop sale recall on it...... really fed up with Ram. I have owned 2 1500's and 3 2500's and sold my last 2500 anticipating this one. What a $hit show. I'm seeing other dealers with the same spec'd out truck i ordered with no recalled part on them. How do you ship out a sold truck with a recalled part and then have no priorty to get a new part out to the dealer......just ranting bc Ram will not do anything. 1month so far sitting at the dealers.

Hopefully they get something mid month. After the Q1 ram sales posted being down I would hope they would focus on fixing and selling what they have on lots. Assuming all resources are being used for building fleet sales. Wonder how many people walked away from sales and went to the other 2 hds because they couldn't take delivery.

For those of you in the same boat as me waiting on your stop sale 2022 to be fixed so you can take delivery. I contacted Ram customer care today and asked why the 2023's were being fixed before my stop sale 2022. They have assigned a specialist to look into getting my truck to the front of my dealers line. It may benefit you to contact them and ask.

I called. They told me the same thing. But also said it would be at least another month. I asked why they are fixing the 2023 first and they said it isn't Ram that decides what models get fixed first. It's some transportation safety office. I feel that is not accurate.

What is the number we should all be calling them at and making this happen faster?
On a low end figuring each diesel ram affected by this is 60k plus with many them being 90ish so figure 75k on a conservative average. So for every 15 of us that's over 1 mil of our vehicles sitting. Can't tell me Ram wouldn't be upset if that was there money sitting with no answers!

This is the number. The person you talk to on the recall told me they don't have any explanation on why they are fixing trucks in the order they are. He said he thinks but isn't positive ram doesn't control the order of repair. I asked if anyone at ram knew and he said probably not. Lol. I asked for a supervisor and he attempted 3 times to contact them but they were unavailable. He said I'm on a list for them to call me. We'll see.
