Could use a little guidance again, please.
Ok, my bypass cable (img attached) is a little different in most colors I'm reading on here. My Green is White/Green wires. My White is Yellow/Blue wires.
On my 2023 2500 Big Horn I have the white plug (yellow /blue) closest to me on the bus (which is green/black bottom). I have the Green plug (white/green) to the furthest bus (green with white bottom).
I have updated the OBDII MX+, including the firmware and PIDs. I have updated the AlphaOBD, all on my Samsung Note 20. I can get pretty much everything to connect in the (body computer, Climate, Doors, seats ECT) AlphaOBD app. I can't get the Comfort to connect. I keep getting this (img attached). Also, can't connect to adjusting tire pressure. Any help is definitely appreciated. Thanks.

I can't get comfort to connect on my 2020 either.

@Jimmy07
I think it’s an issue with the android app on this one. I just tried (it’s a 2021 heated seats module) and got the same message on android version, but connects right away on windows version:

Need help
After installing a 4” bds lift I noticed my truck was a little low in the rear (about 2”)and my alt trailer height button and bed lowering mode didn’t do anything
Figured I go in and have a look on my JScan
I preformed an air suspension calibration and now
The rears higher by an inch the bags clearly have to much air in them and I’m bouncing down the road terrible ride I want it back to where it was but every number I put in the measured height box doesn’t change my finished height I’ve tried 1-100
And it’s the same
Any thoughts ?

@Jimmy07 I was looking for the Transmission Quick Relearn on the windows version for my 2023 Ram 2500 6.7.
I can't not find it under Active Diagnostic. Am i doing something wrong or is not an option for 2023 ?

Thanks

Hey team, I spent WAY more time than I meant past/beyond lunch hour at work drowning in an ocean of information and barely cracked the surface. I come from Ford world and Forscan, and have had my 2024 Ram 3500 for 2.5 weeks now and LOVE it. I've got a short list of things I'd love to tweak if possible (doesn't everyone?) and that's where I'm starting my research today. I have a OBD USB cable already (probably the EX, need to check) and I see I will need the security bypass cable. Got that much figured out. Now, I wanted to get the comprehensive list of available common tweaks (yes many have mentioned the Forscan spreadsheets, I don't see a spreadsheet for Rams but have perused some of the google docs).

There are a couple little things but the one that really motivated me is the power folding mirrors. I realize this is new to Ram (2023) so posts and lists prior will be useless. What I'm shocked at is that you cannot fold them in while driving. Seems you need to be single digit mph to get them to fold. There were many precarious situations I would fold my tow mirrors in on my Ford as a precaution (narrow bridges or mountain roads when someone is coming, skinny bridge electronic tollbooths where you can drive thru at 50mph). If anyone knows 100% there is a way to disable the speed limit on the mirrors I will absolutely purchase the bypass and alfa. I'll keep researching in my spare time but in case anyone knows I'd appreciate the feedback.

A feature I already miss is one that could be Forscanned on Ford (2021 F150, later years it was enabled by default) was auto heat/cool seats. i.e. If you set the thermostat, the seats will cool or heat without you needing to push any buttons and they turn off once settled. This would be especially useful on the Ram where you have to go through touch screen Comfort screen and not just 1 button. This doesn't appear to be a feature on Ram trucks, can anyone confirm? (first few google searches coming up empty for me but most info is older and 2024 may be different)

One thing I like is knowing what gear I'm in, and I can do this by pushing the gear limit buttons. It appears there is an option to have them visible by default so that's a tweak I'll do but its not enough to motivate my purchase like the folding mirror governor.

Anyway, thanks to Brutal and Jimmy, looks like you've been helping folks on here for a LONG time. Very helpful FAQs and trying to centralize the info. I've got a LOT of catching up to do.

Remote start already does auto heat/cool but only the driver seat. AlfaOBD can adjust the temp threshold for either and that's about all.
Interesting! It doesn't even seem useful unless someone has their ass in the seat to feel it. It sounds like there is no way to get an "Auto" setting to appear on the Uconnect5 Comfort screen. Bummer. Its not critical, the feature is just one of those things its nice to not even think about and it just works in the background when you need it.

It's been a while since summer so I easily forget, but I think my truck returns to the last HVAC temp setting. That said, the seats don't shut down automatically as they're not really A/C, just a fan blowing cabin air up your backside.

It’s already there under settings.

You can select auto heated/cooled seats off/remote start/all starts.

With AlfaOBD you can then adjust the temp thresholds.

They were never advertised as A/C cooled seats... just ventilated/cooled seats.

I've always thought of "ventilated" seats as being A/C cooled. Several other vehicles I've had with them were A/C powered. To be honest until this post I didn't realize the Ram seats weren't A/C cooled, not a feature I use very often.
