CAUGHT: 2025 Ram 2500 Big Horn Regular Cab 4×4
Regular Cab Model Returns For 2025 Model Year...
Ram is gearing up for a mid-cycle action (MCA) of its 2500/3500 Heavy Duty lineup for 2025, sticking with its reliable fourth-generation series introduced in 2010.
The latest spy photos reveal a camouflaged 2025 Ram 2500 Big Horn Regular Cab Long Box 4×4, giving us a glimpse of what’s to come. Notably, the Regular Cab model continues to be part of the lineup for 2025, much to the delight of many Ram enthusiasts.
Exterior Design –
These latest spy photos showcase a camouflaged 2025 Ram 2500 Big Horn Regular Cab Long Box 4×4, confirming that the Regular Cab model will continue into the new model year. The truck was spotted outside the company’s Auburn Hills Headquarters this week. While the truck’s cab and box design remain largely unchanged, the front fascia will receive a facelift inspired by the updated 2025 Ram 1500. Notably, the grille’s R-A-M badge will be positioned higher than on the current model.
The new reflective-style LED headlamps, which appear to be quad lamps in the photos, are likely altered by the camouflage tape. However, the headlamp shape is expected to resemble the current design, with turn signals positioned beneath the high and low beams. At the rear, although the taillights are designed to fit the fourth-generation box, they will incorporate styling elements from the updated Ram 1500.
Interior Changes –
Inside, the changes are subtle but noteworthy. Engineers are working on integrating updated Uconnect 5 system software, indicated by the touchscreen mounted on a temporary plate a few inches from the dashboard. The overall layout, including the steering wheel and dashboard, appears to be a carryover from the current model, especially in lower trim levels like the Ram 1500.
We especially like the spy shots of Little Tree’s new car scent air freshener hanging from the rearview mirror.
Production and Availability –
The Regular Cab models are expected to remain exclusive to the Tradesman and Big Horn trims for 2025. Production of the 2025 Ram Heavy Duty trucks is anticipated to commence in the fourth quarter of 2024 at the Stellantis Saltillo Truck Assembly Plant in Mexico. Ram has yet to post an official release date for production.
