Ram Has Record Sales For The Month Of October In Brazilian Market!
Ram 1500 & 3500 Prove To Be Strong Sellers For The American Brand...
In 2009, the Ram brand was launched as an independent division, focused on meeting the demands of pickup truck buyers and delivering vehicles in several markets across the globe. That includes the Brazilian market.
The brand had its best October in Brazil in the brand’s history, thanks to the Ram 1500 and 3500. The Ram 3500 was the second best-selling premium vehicle in the country with the Ram 1500 taking the fifth position.
Among all the premium automakers in the Brazilian market, only Ram has been showing sales growth this year. Between January and October, the 3,327 license plates won by the most desired pickup truck brand represent a 24% increase over the volume obtained in the same period in 2021, according to Fenabrave data.
With 536 units sold last month, it was the best October in the brand’s history. It also marked the fourth consecutive month with more than 500 vehicles sold. The most outstanding model in October was the Ram 3500, which sold 267 units. The Ram 1500 Rebel sold 205 units during the month.
The two pickups are also the brand’s best sellers for the year, with 1,449 units sold for the Ram 3500 (launched in late March) and 960 units for the Ram 1500 Rebel – a number that is already close to double to what the truck did in 2021 (533 units sold).
Another high point for the brand is the leadership along vehicles with prices above R$ 400,000 (or about $75,230 USD), between January and October. In this segment in the Brazilian market, the brand holds 15.3% of the segment market share.
