Ram Dominates Brazil’s Full-Size Truck Market in Early 2025

Ram Trucks Now Hold Over 70% of the Segment with 1500, 2500, and 3500

Ram is flexing its muscles in Brazil’s full-size pickup truck segment, kicking off 2025 with more than 70% market share thanks to its 1500, 2500, and 3500 models. Ram is considered a premium marque in the Brazilian market. However, the American brand continues to lead the segment by a wide margin.

At the top of the leaderboard in the updated 2025 Ram 1500, which arrived in Brazil at the end of 2024. The twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter HURRICANE Standard-Output (S/O) I6 engine delivers a power rating of 426 horsepower and 635 Nm (469 lb-ft) of torque. With a 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) time of just 5.3 seconds, it’s officially the fastest pickup truck on the Brazilian market.

Ram’s innovative Active-Level™ air suspension system, with five adjustable ride heights and an automatic Aero mode at speeds above 100 km/h (62 mph), boosts efficiency and gives the 1500 an edge with buyers looking for performance and comfort. As a result, the 1500 alone captured more than 31% of the full-size truck market in Q1 2025.

Ram 3500 –

Second is the Ram 3500, the most powerful diesel pickup available in Brazil. Under its hood is a beastly 6.7-liter CUMMINS turbodiesel I6 engine making 377 horsepower and 1,150 Nm (848 lb-ft) of torque. Thanks to its ultra-strong chassis made of high-strength steel, the 3500 hauls up to 1,752 kg (3,863 lbs) and tows over 9,000 kg (19,841 lbs), which no other truck in Brazil currently matches. This unmatched capability helped the 3500 secure around 25% of the market share in the first quarter.

The Ram 2500, another Heavy Duty powerhouse, also made its presence known by ranking among the top five best-selling full-size trucks. Recently awarded “Semi-Light Truck of the Year” by the Lotus Sales Champion Awards, the 2500 continues to prove its worth with Brazilian consumers who need strength, durability, and style.

Meanwhile, the smaller Ram Rampage, a standout in the compact and midsize truck categories, keeps building momentum. It gained 0.5% market share over Q1 2024 and has already surpassed 37,500 units sold since its 2023 debut, remaining a strong performer in its class.
