Yes looks correct but how do we know they are updated versions??? Ad doesn't fit my mega cab but the ae does but again how can we find out it is updated and not same old crap that's on there???

The only way I know is for the Service or Parts Manager to make a call to see if the are the one for our fix.. I now have over 2k miles on my truck and just started hearing it about 2 weeks ago. I plan on waiting a while longer to see if this actually fixed the problem with others so I won't be a Ginny Pig and have to do it later on again.

Anybody have any updates on this? Mine is getting worse. I need to take it back to the dealer, but I'm pretty sure they are going to give me the runaround again unless I bring some good evidence of what's causing the rattle.

If you would be willing to follow up with me via private message, I would be happy to get you a case on this so that a customer care specialist can work alongside your dealer and our internal technical resources to address this!

My intent was to follow up with you. Then I read post 133 in this thread which concerned me. I don’t want my dealer to “blacklist” me.

With 164 posts In this thread, I didn't read them all to see if anyone posted about this rattle. When i let off the throttle and the Jake brake creates the back pressure, i have a rattle on the pasenger side somewhere around the fire wall area. It's not the jack under the seat and it sounds like its a light aluminum tag or something. Any ideas as I've rolled around under it AND hovered over it?.

I've been watching this thread for a long time. 2020 ram 2500 CTD but I get this rattle/vibration thud that sounds like a cinder block bouncing in the back of the cab. Just dropped mine off at the dealer today and explained everything but they haven't had one in for service with a similar problem.. so i guess I'm the test mule for here in St Pete FL. Sounds exactly like the vibration thuds even matching the video earlier in the thread

After taking mine in yesterday, today the dealer called and said they confirmed it is the 2 rear cab mounts making the awful noise. They attached the noise sensors on the test drive the first time around so it didn't take long to pinpoint it. However now they say its 7-10 days before they can get the replacements. Will update again after the parts get swapped

Ok so send to be fixed after driving it couple days... Dealer was great after I contacted FCA and told them my issue they contacted dealer and sent them what seems to be new revised rear cab mounts. They called me I made appointment and new couple days later I can say noise hasn't appeared.. I will let you guys know if it does come back...

I suggest everyone bring it to their dealer and contact FCA so they can get them the new cab mounts....

Only bad thing I noticed is it seems that the cab mounts are taller then the original and it raised the cab about 1/2" so body lines don't match up I'll post pic.

Please let us know your experience with dealer and if you get it done let us know about the body lines and how I fixed it I might just put a spacer in the bed to raise it..

Does your invoice give part numbers for the mounts?

Thanks for the update. I may try to get with my dealer next week. Do you think a measurement of the height of my body mount would be helpful to see if yours is higher? I can try to look at it tomorrow.

Yes, After looking not much to measure from on the passenger side. The driver side has a nice sort of flange to measure from. Maybe this will help? The second picture is just to give you a point of reference

In the pic it looks like the measurement is about 1.325"-1.350", are your cab mounts the original or have they been replaced? I just took a measurement of mine and it is just over 1.375" and the body lines look a little bit off as well, my dealer just replaced the C pillar cab mounts about a week ago but I never payed attention to the line before they were changed.

I took my truck in on the 29th of June and they informed me on the 2nd of July that they had ordered new mounts and they would be in the following day. I got a call late that Friday letting me know that they got them installed and the noise was still present, they asked for more time with the truck so I left it over the weekend.

I ended up picking the truck up the following Tuesday because they ran out of ideas and said they were gonna do some research and get back with me. I haven't heard anything back yet and will try to make some time to call them tomorrow to follow up. I wasn't given an invoice when I picked it up so I don't have part numbers for what they installed but the service manager told me that it ended in AE which he said indicates it has been superceeded four times starting with AA.

It seems as if the rattle is worse now than it was before they were replaced but I have only driven it a few times since I picked it up. I located a 2020 MegaCab at another dealer and visited them to test drive it, it had 5 miles on the odometer and rattled right out of the parking lot so they are still currently coming off the assenbly line with the issue.

My truck has the original factory mounts. The measurement is about 1.350". That's not good news regarding the rattle.

I haven’t seen a mount off the truck yet can we just get some spun up on a lathe made of some tough urethane like companies use for body lifts or similar! These seem over engineered it’s what happens When people expect HD trucks to ride like the SUV they bring the kids to soccer practice in!
