How does your HEMI tow the 5er? What’s the weight? I’m debating a 5er for our next rig and wasn’t sure the HEMI would be up to the job.

I pulled 2 hours from Boyer RV in Erie PA off of I90 to I79, South I79 to Butler PA at Buttercup Woodlands Campground.
I did get the Reese Goosebox 16K installed before I picked it up, I'm sure that it changes the perceived feel.
On the 2 hour drive, I drive about 30 minutes, and swapped with my father who is a CDL truck driver. He and I were both amazed at how you felt almost nothing at all, the truck drove perfectly smooth and had plenty of power. The pin suspension in the Reese can be seen working in your rear view mirror, but the truck never reacts to the camper oscillating behind you. Like, you honestly felt nothing.
Obviously it's not winning drag races. But it goes down the interstate on both up and down hill and holds 65 mph perfectly fine.
It was loaded with all of our things from our trade in that we pulled directly there from our seasonal site. So that 2 hour drive was with absolutely everything from our Apex 289TBSS that is needed for seasonal camping.
I'm extremely thrilled with my 2500 Hemi. I've owned diesel trucks, they are "faster" if that's your thing while towing. The hemi uses RPM and gearing to develop pulling power as designed by the engineers, so if your sensitive to revving.... You may be bothered.
I understand how it all works and I'm thrilled with the performance and outcome.
