That was sort of my plan. I had a Ram 1500 and a 28' bumper pull, upgraded to the Ram 2500 and then upgraded to the Grand Design fifth wheel.

Nice job color coordinating. Looks like awesome on 8 wheels !! I like that GD changed their color choices to offer something different and they nailed it.

I could have bought a left over that was tan color, but I also think that new white bodies are cleaner/brighter looking. And yes, it coordinates well with my white truck

Trailer is a Stealth 25' toy hauler. Near future upgrade to a 5th wheel toy hauler in the 30-35' range. Anything larger and will not be able to get it in my driveway (trailer stored at home) due to the street being pretty narrow.

Y’all are making me want to sell my 2019 Rebel with almost 5K miles for a 2500 or 3500. Nice toads and rigs.

No one ever said that this camping life is just to good, to fun, to relaxing.... It that you have to much camper/fiver it to much tow vehicle.

We are loving our new Reflection 311BHS fiver. It's massively bigger/better/different than the Coachmen Apex UltraLite that we just dumped.

Yes, my truck is a short box. The Pullrite 2600 has a similar design to the andersen ultimate with the offset from the ball. I havent had it in any tight spots yet, but I will update once I get a chance to test my turning angles. If memory serves me right, the kingpin sits 7-8" behind the gooseneck ball, to the andersens 9"

Any update on how that 2600 turning radius is with the Mega Cab and how it feels towing?

I don't have any photos but I got into some pretty tight spots last weekend and had it within a couple inches of the cab. I estimate that I got to 83-85 deg.. it was a very tight turn, and I didn't find myself wishing I had more clearance to be honest.

Nice color. I love the Billet Silver.
Thanks! You have an equally good looking truck. Is yours leveled or lifted? Your picture above makes look like it sits taller than stock. I have been thinking of leveling mine.

How does your HEMI tow the 5er? What’s the weight? I’m debating a 5er for our next rig and wasn’t sure the HEMI would be up to the job.

I pulled 2 hours from Boyer RV in Erie PA off of I90 to I79, South I79 to Butler PA at Buttercup Woodlands Campground.

I did get the Reese Goosebox 16K installed before I picked it up, I'm sure that it changes the perceived feel.

On the 2 hour drive, I drive about 30 minutes, and swapped with my father who is a CDL truck driver. He and I were both amazed at how you felt almost nothing at all, the truck drove perfectly smooth and had plenty of power. The pin suspension in the Reese can be seen working in your rear view mirror, but the truck never reacts to the camper oscillating behind you. Like, you honestly felt nothing.

Obviously it's not winning drag races. But it goes down the interstate on both up and down hill and holds 65 mph perfectly fine.

It was loaded with all of our things from our trade in that we pulled directly there from our seasonal site. So that 2 hour drive was with absolutely everything from our Apex 289TBSS that is needed for seasonal camping.

I'm extremely thrilled with my 2500 Hemi. I've owned diesel trucks, they are "faster" if that's your thing while towing. The hemi uses RPM and gearing to develop pulling power as designed by the engineers, so if your sensitive to revving.... You may be bothered.

I understand how it all works and I'm thrilled with the performance and outcome.
