Been thinking of maybe scouting it first on the quad. We are at 5200 ft. That peak is 7000.

Mine made it to the top of the most dangerous road in Idaho. Pinyon Peak trail in the Frank Church wilderness area. In the upper background you can see the Pinyon peak fire lookout 10,000 feetView attachment 62049
The drive was a little tight in spots but nothing that bad. I cut 6 trees off the road and drug one off the road on the south side. Another truck had come from the other sude and he said he had to cut 15 he said. Slow going about 6 hours to get around the 70 mile trail. My son had gone through2 weeks earlier right after it had been opened up but a big wind storm had closed it agin just before we got there.How was the drive?
