I drove this home from the dealership on Monday. 2023 Power Wagon. I can't believe it is sitting in my garage. I traded in my 2015 Ram 2500 Tradesman that only had 21k miles on it. They gave me 31k for the trade and I paid roughly 70k for the PW. I thought was a good deal after looking online at other dealerships they were selling similar PW's for closer to 80k or more. It is fully loaded and I think the only thing it is missing is a sun roof. I am not much of an off roader so this will probably be more of a pavement princess but I do own a boat so it will get to do some towing and we are heading up to the BWCA at the end of the month so it will be up there as well.

Congrats! Had mine for 5 months now and love it. My first Ram and first 2500 after owning multiple GM half-tons over the last 25yrs.

How was the drive?
The drive was a little tight in spots but nothing that bad. I cut 6 trees off the road and drug one off the road on the south side. Another truck had come from the other sude and he said he had to cut 15 he said. Slow going about 6 hours to get around the 70 mile trail. My son had gone through2 weeks earlier right after it had been opened up but a big wind storm had closed it agin just before we got there.

Pretty bumpy I’d imagine? It looks mostly smooth from the pictures I’ve seen, but I struggle to believe the “Most Dangerous Road in Idaho” isn’t very rough.

Fresh off the truck and delivered to my drive. Grunt Grunt Missing the rock rails and upfitter switches. Dealer will be installing those in the next week or so. No time to mess with it till next week, flying to a wedding Friday. Good time to read the manual and some vids while in flight. 2024 fully loaded Power Wagon, should be fun and pull my trailer when needed. Nothing serious on towing, occasionally I bring some equipment home.
