Toyo Open Country M/T 37x12.50 on factory beadlock capable wheels. They rub minimally on the sway bar, but not enough that I'll do anything about it.

This is the same post I just put in the, “Let’s See Those Power Wagons.”

Well now begins the 24-hour transformation for “Walter.” Just got the BFG KM3’s installed and tonight he goes on the lift in my shop for the Thuren rear track bar and rear sway bar links, Carli rear coils. Thuren front coils, track bar and Alien radius arms, Fox shocks on all four corners and a Fox 2.0 ATS steering stabilizer. Still waiting on the Dodge Off Road steering brace with a new sector shaft…….should get most of it done tonight after work……depending on how my coors light get in the way that is! I will say with the short drive from getting the tires mounted, the KM3’s are whisper quiet compared to the Duratracs and Atturo Trailblades I had on!

Question for you all, i'm looking at some 18x9.5 wheels. They offer them with a 12mm offset or a -18mm offset. I like more of the flush look in relation to the fender flairs. Would the -18 offset poke the tires too far outside the fender flairs?

If you don't want a lot of poke, the +12's are your friend. Mine are 18x9 +18 with a 13.5" wide tire and they poke just a little. The +12's would stick out about a half inch further than mine (assuming similar tire size).

A -18 with that 9.5" wide wheel would stick out about an inch and a half further than mine.

it depends on what "too far" is to you. I have +18MM offset 18x9.5s on my truck right now with 37x12.5s and they stick out about an inch.

I would be cautious about going with a -18 offset wheel as that will probably rub a decent amount if we are running anything larger then stock. Sweet spot on these trucks for larger tires is usually +18 to +27mm offset.

Got the Thuren/Carli combo installed with Fox 2.0’s and a new Fox ATS stabilizer. The 37’s have no rub, still need to install the wheel well liner modification from Ty Vole. Cannot believe the difference in mannerism now. Literally a night and day difference!IMG_4500.jpegIMG_4501.jpegIMG_4502.jpegIMG_4503.jpegIMG_4504.jpeg

Nice! I’ll also be getting some Carli bits on mine, can’t wait to drive it. Your truck looks awesome.

Bro, this mView attachment 54423
Bro, this motherfucker wants 280 for this??? He's high as ****!!
It all really depends on what value it provides and to some extent the total value of the mods being added. It’s about 1% of my total cost of mods, so it’s negligible to me. And at least after putting a lot of $$ into the truck it won’t look like Cletus took a hacksaw to the wheel well.

I’ve seen stranger things cost a lot more.

Well, the rubbing has already annoyed me to the point that I ordered Method 704HD 17x9 +18mm wheels in matte black. After putting some more miles on it, I found that my first impressions were wrong. They rub quite a bit on both the sway bar and radius arm. If anyone wants to pick up some factory beadlock capable wheels near Quartzsite, AZ in the next couple weeks, I know of some that will be for sale.

Upgraded to 37s today. Here is the before and after.

Went with AEV Salta rims. Can confirm they are clearing 37x12.50r17 Cooper STT Pros with ease. The tires are 13.3 inches wide by spec.

Very happy with the look of 37s on the PW. Should have come from the factory this way.

Can you provide info on your front brush guard please. Also do you have a shot that shows the front of your truck. Thanks
