To clarify, if I would want to add OEM fog lamps to my 2020 3500 Tradesman, making it as close to a factory installed option as possible, these are the parts needed:

Code:
68156061AD HEADLAMP SWITCH
68202187AA FRONT FOG LAMP (qty 2)
68449383AA FOG LAMP BRACKET KIT
68449341AA FOG LAMP BEZEL KIT
68368951AA BOLT (qty 6)
68404464AA NUT (qty 8)
6508065AA HEX HEAD BOLT (qty 8)

And I'd have to to run the wire from the fog lamps:
Code:
LEFT+ to C1:1 BCM
LEFT- to chassis
RIGHT+ to C4:13 BCM
RIGHT- to chassis

Assuming the above is correct, and if INSTALLING FRONT PARKSENSE IS A FUTURE ADD - would that warrant a change in any of the parts or how it interfaces with the BCM?

If you are doing front park sense in the future, the bezels would need to be changed. The wiring would not be affected.

Anyone know where to get the terminal pins without having to wait a few weeks from mouser?

Just installed the Baja Designs SAE Amber Floods from the kit prepared by CJC Off Road. Except for one of the BD lights wiring wired backwards (!) it was a nice kit using all MOPAR pieces to replace my factory blanks. Came with the BD wiring looms and then wired to my upfitter switches.

Asking anyone that’s swapped out the headlight switch and run the wires to the BCM, does the little green fog lamp indicator light illuminate in the instrument cluster?

Hey all, I started this project yesterday on my ‘21 3500. I got all the hardware installed but weather stopped me from finishing up the wiring.

I just wanted to say thank you for all the research that everyone has contributed on making this a reality. The truck looks SO much better without those blank-out panels in the bumper!

Using one hand to plug the wires into the C1 and C4 connectors is the most difficult thing about keeping this all factory but it is worth it. I did find that if you stick the C4 plug in between the wiring harness and the C5 connector, it is much easier to plug in the wire.

So it sounds fairly easy. Wiring from Light to BCM. Install a factory fog light switch in the cab. Get AlphaOBD and activate the features. Am I missing something?
Also, is there a thread of how to install front parking sensors if you have rear sensors already?
Thanks folks!

Hey just wanted to know since you went OE on this. When you plugged into the BCM where did you come through the firewall with the fog light wires?
Thanks, Dan
I ran my wires through the rubber grommet near the bcm.

Thanks for the quick reply, also does anyone have another part number for those BCM pins, the link/ part number has them unavailable until spring 2022

Today I installed the Diode Dynamics fog lights using all of the OEM hardware. They will become active when I install the LED projector lights along with the custom wiring harness that will feed the headlights and fogs.

Overall shot for reference

I added a similar set of Baja Design fogs to my 2022. The kit came with Mopar bezels and Mopar mounts. Super bright and an easy install. I just did a stand alone switch for ease of installation.

Installed the Baja Design ambers. Purchase the CJCoffroad kit. It took longer than it should've to get here and when it did several of the stainless bolts needed to install were standard, not metric. Luckily I had the correct ones here so I could finish. Once plugged into my upfitter switch they worked perfect!

There are no fuses for the exterior lighting because it’s all handled by the BCM internally.
Thanks. I wired up my fogs on a tradesman through the BCM and programmed them with Alfa OBD. They were working fine and I noticed both stopped working last night. Im trying to trouble shoot it now.
edit: Finally got around to testing with a meter. Im getting 12v at the fog light connectors. The LED fogs must have both went out at the same time. The polarity is correct. I got them on ebay so who knows what happened.
