So with everything going on, I finally found some time to get this taken care of. I used the factory switches and replaced the toggles in my ‘19 Power Wagon. From those, I used a wiring harness supplied by forum member paulvi. I ran his harness wires out through an access point behind the battery here:I have my relay box and the mounting panel fabricated and fitted. Just need some paint (to hide my lack of abilities to cut a razor straight line) and time to run the wires.

I fabricated the mount out of a piece of scrap stainless I had laying around. I may have over engineered everything, but it’s all water tight and I can remove it easily to add or remove anything.

I used what would appear to be the same Techflex for my underhood light wiring install, but would caution anyone watching that it's not rated for high heat. If the bundle goes anywhere near anything hot, it will melt.

I put together a relay panel that I got from waytek. I’d have to do some digging, but here it is all wired up and installed on the panel I made to mount in the factory location behind the battery.

this is only a 5 relay box, which will work fine as my 6th aux switch will likely get used for a compressor setup that will have its own relays.
bear in mind, when wiring the relays, the aux switches provide the negative signal to the relays, so it takes a bit of figuring if you’re used to positively switched relays.
at the end of the day, everything works. It’s only running a light bar currently, but will run some more lights and eventually a compressor setup.
i apologize for the late response. It took me actually getting COVID to find the time to get this done. It was tough, but the sunshine and fresh air did some good along with lots of breaks lol

But when you use the stock Aux switches and wire them to an aftermarket PDC do you have to do any programming with alpha or is it just a simple wiring between the stock switches and aftermarket PDC (relays and fuses) avoiding any of the truck computers? If this is the case that would be awesome and sounds very simple to figure out. Thanks!
Ok that helps a lot, thanks for the info!i did have to use alfaobd to turn on the commercial menus in the instrument cluster. That’s where you can make the selections for what you want the switches to do. They can be on/off or momentary and you can determine whether they can be active with only the ignition switch or battery. I’ve not messed with these settings much, only the basics to get the switches operating correctly.

I have read the thread and I THINK I have a handle on it. I will be adding Aux panel 68376642AE to my 2019 3500 Tradesman HO. If I do this, and activate it via AlfaObd, I still need to add wires to the back of the connector correct? (Pic attached) If I need to add wires, does anyone have part numbers for the crimps?
The wires ground, which I will attach to my own Aux relay panel.

The six wires are in that connector (they are on every single truck), BUT, the other ends of them stop at the XY125 connector, and do not continue to the left dash harness into the engine bay. It’s hard to source the the terminals for the XY125 connector without having to buy 100 of them, so the simplest thing you can do is de-pin this cluster of six wires from the switch bank connector, and use these terminals to crimp onto six new wires of any length you choose, insert them into those positions on the switch connector, and run them wherever you want- https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetai...zmoIuWKhqPFeWI5hXQapUY7BrjWb&tetid=72GIXGTFGMHey Guys! That makes me cringe because I always do everything possible to avoid cutting factory wiring, but yes, if that’s what you want to do, it’ll work.That's great info Jimmy07. Thanks! I got my harness from him and should have my bussman Aux relay box this week to start installation of my accessories.
Remember the switches are ground switches.
