I'm going to assume FCA pays cummins wayyyyy less than $10k per engine when they are new. Just because we would have to pay a rediculous amount for a new engine doesn't mean FCA does. They get the "buy in bulk" discount lol.
Exactly. Just make it a bit longer than the factory one and go from there. Then research the thuren specs and get them put on the truck. All will be perfect.
I will say that at 50k km all the fluids looked great. Rear diff was slightly dirty with the smallest bit of metallic powder on the magnet. Transfer case oil looked as new.
I used...gasp...Canadian made April synthetic 75w90 in my diffs with valvoline limited slip additive. NOT MOPAR!!!
Further to that I used...HUGE GASP...Mobil 1 ATF+4 in my transfer case!! NOT MOPAR!!! Are you guys twitching hard right now?!??? Lol.
Well instead of listening to these 2 guys above me going at eachother, let me give you my experience as I have the exact setup you desire with the exact same wheel offset running 37 toyo open country MTs. You will have to trim the smallest of pieces off. Basically the little nub of plastic that...
