TransferFlow Replacement Tank for Hemi

Will these not work with the 2025-26 trucks? I’m guessing it’s not fitment but because you can’t tell the computer you put a bigger tank on?

That is a good question I have been hoping someone would discuss. I have a 2025 myself. I am guessing we could physically mount the tank in place of the stock unit. I would also guess the fuel gauge would be off a bit, but would work. The distance to empty likely won’t be remotely close if that matters. I don’t have a clue what it would do to figuring the fuel mileage.

I am hoping someone tries one to see what happens.I don’t want to be the first.

2019/2020 truck owners are in the same boat...
They won't say why it won't work.

I would think with Alfa seemingly closer, you’d be able to change the tank size as it looks like it’s a hex code change. I will admit, while I’m decent with programming, I am not sure if it would require it to be an option or if you can manually tell it there’s 46 gallons and to do the calculations off that.

I’d be willing to bet it will physically fit just fine.

As for the 19-20, I wonder if something is slightly different?

Firstly, thanks to the active support and momentum generated via this post, which eventually kept us engaged, and, helped triggering and driving the project to see the light.

Glad to share that last week I placed the order of the newly released larger Tank, after waiting on the list for more than a year.

I pass my many thanks to the customer-centric support exhibited by Teri, which streamlined the process from resolving couple of technical queries all the way to the order finalization, with extending my appreciation to the other behind-the-scene members.

Now, am awaiting the receipt of the tank and installation, following the long lead production and shipping prior activities.

Let’s hope for the best to all.
Update: Received the tank last week. I’ll fix it in the next weeks, along with other planned works. I’ll post the outcomes once completed.

If you install the new TF tank, will the gas gage be accurate?

This is the sticker showing the Tank’s Part number, noting that I placed the order directly with the Sales (via “Teri”) for being on the preorder waitlist for more than a year, with thanks to the TF Team for their great customer attention and prompt support.

After installing, I’ll see how it’ll go with the fuel gauge reading and share the updates.

As a relevant note, currently I have a locally fabricated in-bed tank of about 120 liters capacity, with an external pump (used by old Mercedes) that is directly connected with the main tank’s steel feeding pipe. It’s inside the canopy with an in cabin reading gauge. The system worked well for couple of years but I do need to rely on a bigger main tank, while having lesser use of that aux. tank.

For the CTD trucks, supposedly the currently available Titan/S&B extended tanks for the 20XX-2024 models will not fit 2025-2026 because the 2025+ has a different size/location for the DEF tank. Perhaps this is due to the new transmission, new location for the t-case, etc.

I know this has nothing to do with the 6.4 trucks, but if true, it indicates that some things might have moved around under the truck for the 2025+ model facelift.
