We rented a vehicle and drove 825 miles to Lake Charles LA. Spent the night and got in to Mark Dodge before they opened to find our trucks up front and ready to go. We couldn’t leave because we had a hold up with the funds for my truck. They can’t accept ACH, I didn’t know that. Aaron was awesome and we called our banks (Boa for me, Chase for them). I had to send another wire transfer to them. Boa and Chase assured me that the funds I sent via ACH were declined and will come back to my account in a few business days. (Funds did come back)
We hit the road. I was impressed with the truck. I know we were traveling on flat I10 going east but still impressed. MPGs peaked at 18.9 but average for 825 miles was 18.5. We had 2 HO and one 2500 trucks. The 2500 peaked at 19.2 MPG so pretty close to the 3500 HOs.
The trucks ride soo nice. Build quality seems great, will be able to judge better with time and more miles. The other 2 trucks suffered some chips on the front end. I warned them to keep distance but they did seem to follow close to trucks and other vehicles. My truck doesn’t seem to have any chips as I did keep plenty of distance between vehicles in front.
The screen is amazing. 920 miles already on the truck and not a single glitch or issue.

Hope it stays that way.
There she is in the driveway. What a beautiful truck. Was it worth the 4 months wait? Hell yes, I would of waited 6 months to get this again and save 10k with MD deal.
One thing I would have done differently, order the damn running boards. Completely forgot about them. Now I’ll have to pay double for the oem steps. Definitely needs steps. Very tall truck.
Sorry for the long post.
