Wiped the goosneck hitchball with a dab of grease in preperation for first hookup, and loads of brush/chips this week.

I purchased the Vedder LightDraw OWB left hand draw for one specific purpose: to mount to the outside side of my 2019 Ram 3500 console. This thing is absolutely AMAZING & PERFECT! I simply removed the belt clips, that just unscrew, drilled to small holes in console, added a 1” spacer between holster and console so to make easy and quick access to gun, and used to bolts to fasten. The hand gun I mounted is the Sig Sauer 1911 Emporer Scorpion.45. I’m not kidding- it worked absolutely perfect and looks OEM. My leg does not hit it, seat fully adjusts and it is easily accessible and secure for when I’m on the road. Very high quality holster, excellent fit and nice looking. I recommended to everyone. 15E2C574-91E2-4E72-9DF8-501AF9B5A53F.png5F161C22-1405-4B64-BC24-4372CF5D2DD2.jpeg146AE852-762E-4AF0-9665-0B9C86FD881E.jpeg234D8666-DAEE-483B-81E8-27BEB56DB606.jpeg25A7F3A0-33FA-4FB0-BF52-3470B76958B1.jpeg697ABA28-E76B-45CB-997E-0D2468B51692.jpeg3D2193EE-D5E6-4D17-B67C-B666A8B9C008.jpeg

It looks like you also have a magnetic holder?

Also, great to see a 1911!

Yes- it is just double sided tape mounted. Didn’t like the position and mount of it for the bigger 1911. I may remove it or possibly use for magazine’s

That's alright, but all of the cool people carry a wheel gun. Hadn't you heard?

Guess not! Im so damn old, I don’t even know what a “wheel gun” is- unless it’s for changing tires at the Daytona 500.

What is everyone replacing these Flinstone tires with? Personally I agree with they suck in the snow, they ride like crap, they are noisy and more....Dealer already offered me 500 for the factory tires if I provide him new tires before pickup of new unit.
My truck arrives in a few weeks. I've posted my Firestones and intend to mount Nitto Ridge Grapplers but my dealer wouldn't offer me anything for the take offs. No hits on my posting for them either at 700 dollars. A new set of the Firestones installed locally would be about 1100 with tax and fees.

You seem to be a bit steep on those take off tires. I am buying a set mounted on brand new alloy wheels for $800, and I have seen others for the same price.

Took my time fitting it, made sure everything was in the place it should be. Quality seems good, took it through a car wash, wasn't 100% waterproof but I wasn't expecting that (Had a one piece fiberglass on my old truck).
Only been on a week so time will tell.

Does it improve the driving experience in normal road?
Interested!

Yes, it rides much better than stock. Going to the 37s on 17s helped a lot. Going to the suspension with the torsion sway bar helped even more. It even impressed my wife. You still feel small bumps but the overall ride is much smoother. The truck also feels firmer with regards to the handling. It has a little more lean on sharp corners but it still feels more solid. Kind of like the suspension is still working for you and not just up against a limiter. Hard to explain.

Thanks for the info!

Does anyone have any recommendations on some good scrubbing brushes? I tried one from Costco and it leaked constantly. All the brushes I see online are the same 3 or 4 and seem cheap. Those same ones are pushed by every review website, automatically turning me off.
