I may get scolded for straying a bit off, but I thought this was odd.

Sunday was wash, polish and wax the new truck day. This is definitely a monster to do!

Tire shop replaced my new tires with another set. BFG KO2s. First set would not balance correctly and vibrated. New set seems to be ok.

I got my newly installed factory fog lights wired up and set to aux switch one on the ignition relay. Now I have to wait for a night time drive to see how much or little they help. I have high hopes,,,

I gave up on BFG's. Too many issues the past few years.
That's how I was with Wrangler Duratracs that I had on a few previous trucks I owned. They were great tires for about 5k miles, then after that they balanced horribly. They vibrated and rode uneven, and everytime I pulled away from a stoplight when it was the slightest bit rainy out or wet they would spin like crazy. Horrible tires.

My local tire shop (used for all our commercial and personal vehicles) steered me away from BFG's about 3 years ago. He said they were varying a lot from one set to the next. Some would last a long time as expected, but some sets would not make it past 20,000 miles without issues. I went to Toyo on their recommendation and have not looked back. I've been thrilled. No rear end sway when pulling a load like we saw on some Firestones in the past, they ride great, and they are quiet.
I went with Nitto Trail Grapplers on my new/current 2500 when I found out Toyo and Nitto are the same company.

Well, technically nothing yet, but I did mock up some mud flaps... the front flaps needed some special attention due to the shape of the inner fenderwell.
They still need some minor tweaking/final fitting while I wait for the weights to arrive.

Thanks to @1FastHemi for the idea...

Ain't it purdy!! The words "House Divided" are under the license plate trim. Will look for something eventually.

Good work and great shipping times from a small shop in Florida!

Got an email from Sirius xm guardian about downloading the free Amazon Alexa app to communicate with my ram truck. Works pretty well, it may be a little quicker than signing onto owners pg but no where near as fast as just grabbing the phone and hitting start on uconnect app. I had Alexa lock and unlock doors and start and turn off truck. There are supposed to be lots of commands like " Alexa , ask ram how much fuel is in tank" but it said that it wasn't capable of answering that command. I wonder if that's because its the 12" not the 8" wich is capable of vehicle diagnostics and performance. Any know how or info from a nobody who has experience with this.
Fyi: me talking to Alexa annoyed the hell out of the wife. JUST GET OFF YOUR DAMN A$$ AND HIT THE F>@%/#G BUTTON. I think she is jealous of Alexa
