Installed my Spyder Industries Headache Rack and 3/4 hoop on my 2022 Laramie 2500. I have the Revolver X4S and the headache rack worked well with it except access to the strap clips. Nothing a bungee won’t solve. The 3/4 loop over lapped the X4S rails and didn’t seat well. I’ll need to trim the flange on the loop. The wing bolts are very close to the bed lights and because of that are hard to tighten. I’ll swap the wing bolts out for socket head cap bolts.
I painted the web with Mopar touch up spray paint and clear coat. It came out a better match than the pictures show.

If you cut out the front stake pocket rail covers for any reason, the guide lines do not match up to the opening. Start in the center and work your way out.

I wired the light bars but haven’t made the connection to the aux switch yet. That’s a project for another day.

Remind me not to let the light come on before I fill up. It hurts less to fill from half. Looks like they can barely keep up removing the stickers before they get restickered lol

You have it easy, price-wise….Stick a rubber snake in that nest-hole, folks keep quail and ground squirrels/rats out of heaters sometimes with them here, probably won’t work. ha

Not a bad idea at all! May just work.

I’ve delivered alligator floats to pools where customers have duck/geese problems

So not too my truck but loading up the camper for the holiday weekend and what do I find in my pin box?! Has to be the biggest nest I’ve seen (and I have a bunch birds nesting on my property) and lucky no eggs. I have to believe the nest was finished and the bird would be laying eggs anyway now. The “cup” was fairly small but the whole pin box was stuffed.

That last pics sux, should have put something next too it for reference. I’ll see if it’s still there in the morning.

Nice 02. Where did you get the bumper and did it come with the top black plastic trim?

I'd like to replace my trim on mine.

Thanks man.

Bumper came with everything I needed.
Black plastic trim? I went with the heavy duty bumper not the factor one.

Holy cow, I missed that. First pic didn't load for me first go round.

Very nice.

Today I re-dipped my chrome-deleted grille. It has been plastidipped for almost two years. Plasti dip is mostly flat black in appearance when dry. It still looked pretty good but had a few rock chips. I decided to try hyper dip this time.

Keep in mind this is 2 year old plasti dip. This post is not to compare the two products. The plasti dip held up amazingly for two years and about $9 of paint and $6 of tape for the project.

I’m case your were wondering yes it still peels clean after two years. I started at a rock chip and cleaned off a section to test.

This time around I used hyper dip “shadow black” which has a little more of a satin appearance to it and is supposed to be more of a premium product. It costs $17 per can vs $9 a can.

Here is what the hyper dip looks like. Both products take about one can for the grille. I still have to do the rear bumper.
