That looks bad in a couple ways. It doesn't look like it was welded to the top part and looks like rust. And it might just be the picture, but the mount bracket itself looks like it was cracked for a while and oxidized where it broke.
Had the same thought. Passenger side looks like the same weld, only halfway up. No cracks in it. Dealer is taking a look and most likely will be getting new axle.

Dealer says new axle? That’s crazy lol. Hope you aren’t stuck in the supply chain forever.

Me, I would’ve burned it back on and kept it moving

Anyone added wheel well liners to your 2500? If so, where did you get them? Looked on Mopar website but they don't have any for 2500's.

How do you like the retractable bed cover?
They work great, only downsides I've had is at times they don't slide open smoothly, when it freezes it will freeze closed .. some things to ponder

Mine came with the rear liners. I did find these liners on Amazon.

Added the Diode Dynamics SS3 Pro fog lights. These things make driving at night so nice. They’re SAE DOT approved and have a sharp cutoff but even with the cutoff aimed low 25’ out they still light up everything. Very impressed.

Pics aren’t the best
