Finally got the RokBlokz installed. Yep, they look about as cool as a camper shell and are just as functional!

(Yes, I would absolutely have a shell if I didn’t pull a 5’ver)

Tried my best to accelerate past a deer running across the interstate.

Might have got stuck in the wheel well if you had a short bed. My wife had one “run into” her awhile back…….she literally slowed when she saw it and at the last second it darted out right at her! Not the brightest animals.

Hope the repair process isn’t too painful

Drove directly to the repair shop. $5200 with $100 deductible. Shop is booked out 5-6 weeks. He's ordering a new bedside directly from Ram. Anyones guess when it will become available. The worst part is it will be in the shop for 12 working days. I hope my dogs can adjust to a rental for two + weeks.

Ive watched 2 deer run into me in the last year. First one, I hit the brakes and it hit right where the hood, front quarter panel and bumper meet on a Honda Odyssey. $9500. Second one was on the highway and just saw it as it sprinted out of a ditch. 85 mph and it hit right where the hood, front quarter panel and bumper meet on a 2018 Expedition. $11000. F!#$ing deer.

So I don’t know if I am in love with it yet but it’s a massive upgrade over the chrome grill. None of my local paint shops would paint the chrome grill pieces so I popped them and raptor lined with a custom color to match the gunmetal then clear coated for a little shine. Definitely looks rugged and I don’t have to worry about chips anymore but really wanted to have it look like the rest of the truck paint if I had a choice.

Looks great, I might have to do my front bumper in that if these rock chips keep adding up.
