When you’re removing your rear filter, break housing with socket (28mm) and ratchet until it’s “handy”. Take a gallon ziplock and place around the filter housing and then spin it the rest of the way off. The rest of the diesel in housing will spill into ziplock and not over you or driveway/ground. Learned it from reading this thread, a while back

Now, of course, this is after you drain the housing for a few mins.

G003's nice. Update us on the road noise

Will do. I already miss the quietness of the stocks, but that’s the only thing. I haven’t had the truck over 50 yet, so still need to hit I75 for a run up.

First set of muds for me, but they aren’t any louder than the other trucks I’ve been around today, but they’re definitely not silent either.

They definitely look awesome . Changed the whole demeanor IMO. Looks way more aggressive.

got it thanks
Got her in the garage this evening to get the mud flaps on, the windows tinted and the hood bug deflector installed. I did get the flaps and tint done, I'll get the hood deflector on tomorrow.

I ordered AVS vent visors on Amazon and today got a set for an old Chevy 2 door regular cab. Well, I'll return this and wait for the correct ones. December 16th is the appointment for the Krown rust proofing job, and I think it's done at that point.

Installed the tailgate soft-opening strut (thanks to Epsilon Plus), put some rear-window bling on, and filed off the sharp mold-seam on the parking-brake release lever.

There are actually 2 Beer-er-aters in that garage. The one you see is is for general beer if various types as well a bottles of liquor in the freezer, the other is dedicated to Corona and fresh lime.

I am surprised that there isn’t at least half a dozen free-loader friends or neighbours hiding from their wives in the picture then.:p Although that truck is soo big they might be sitting behind it;).

Taking pictures of tint is always challenging. The front doors are 30% pass through to be similar to the factory rear door tint. The visor in the windshield is 5% pass through "limo" tint.

If you look at my right rear mud flaps from the rear you'll see that I'm a moron and drilled all the way through the black thing. I need to order a new one and new plastic rivets and reinstall that right rear while not drilling the second wall of that black plastic paint protector doo-dad.

I want to kick my own ass for doing that. I'm an idiot.

And to expand on the right rear.... I also mounted it way out of position and crooked. It was my first one and I was in a hurry to be done before the tint guy showed up. I really jacked that right rear one up pretty impressively.

I'll fix it. I should be drawn and quartered for doing that bad of work.

Helped my nephew install EGT pyro and boost gage on his gen 2 Cummins. Best printed directions I think I have ever seen. Very impressed.

Good morning All. I am looking to purchase a Blackvue dash cam today. The Dash Cam Store offers a mount that attaches to the mirror stem. Would someone please post a side picture of the mirror, stem, and sensor unit (mounted on the windshield) please? Or, verify that there is a stem that attaches the mirror to the sensor unit.

Thank you.

Be safe,
Randy

Could you not just put a low profile black screw and nut in it and call it done?
