Interesting. I read the material sheets and only saw it on the AMSOIL. Might have missed it.
I live in Gig Harbor/Port Orchard area.
I take it your in the NW?
I thought it was on there, but maybe I’m just thinking that because it’s listed in the owners manual.
I’m in Idaho. I agree you don’t need to worry about 5w-40 in Gig Harbor… it just doesn’t get as cold near the water.
Have you priced Amsoil with a preferred memebership? The cheapest options would be a 6 month membership where you buy 2 years worth of changes during that timeframe, or find a dealer that only charges a couple bucks markup.
As far as filters go, the Amsoil EaO80 and Donaldson DBL7349 are the same filter with different cans and labels. The media used in them is the best available full flow for these trucks. Even with my dealer pricing on amsoil the Donaldson is a cheaper filter.
