Powerwagon light bar options?

This is partially correct. The panel itself, yes, it's compatible as in it fits. You will have to do one-off wiring and relay box to make it work though. Unless you are just desperate for the OEM look, the Switch pros actually works out cheaper and headache free in the end.
Right…I did not mean that the OEM aux switch panel would not physically fit.
What I meant is that I believe there is a grey connector under the dash that is used for the factory aux switches that is occupied by lockers/sway bar wiring instead on power wagons.

I have the Switch-Pros because it seemed like the most cost effective and easy way to add auxiliary switches with near Oem styling.

So I found these lights today while looking around at different lights. They have some interesting tech in them. They have all 3 types of lenses to cover all the zones, Scene, driving, spot. And they have a GPS speed sensor so that they can switch between the different lenses depending on the speed. 4 of them will produce 35.5K lumens as compared to the 22K lumens from the BD linked lights above. Only issue is they are not linked and I would have to make a decent mounting system for them, drill holes in the bumper. But I'm OK with that. And they are about the same cost as the BD links, but 13K more lumens

I would think that they would make great ditch lights. I like that they would automatically adjust to create the best view of road side obstructions

OK those are pretty bad a$$. Hard to imagine it all started with these old school KC highlights growing up to the technology out there now!

Good luck with it! Let me know if you come up with a different way to deal with the center light and the center support so it avoids the downward angle.

Well still making progress. A couple of things for those of you that are going to add lighting to the front bumper. First, if you try to remove the front bumper on a PW like they say to in the instructions from Baja Designs, you COULD end up with your winch falling out. I took a picture below with the circled white arrows showing you which bolts to remove to take the front bumper off. Also, Ram does a nice job with a single disconnect for all of the lights, sensors, etc. in the front bumper. You also have to unplug your winch control. I swapped out the LED fog lights and just zip tied the old connector inside the bumper. I tied the wires for the fogs together, and tucked all the wiring along the factory harness to hide it. I also decided to wire the fog lights and the XL LinKable lights so I could disconnect them as well so if I needed to take the bumper off in the future. I made it so all the connections are in the same area. I labeled which is which and I swapped male and female connectors (one pair of lights ground wire is a male connector and the other pair of lights ground wire is a female connector) so even with the labeling, I wouldn't be able to connect the wiring to the wrong set of lights. Hopefully will have the bumper reinstalled tonight and maybe get the a-pillar lights done as well. More to come!

Nice thought on the wiring! I didn’t put the linkable lights on until I had the bumper back on the truck. Doing it with the bumper off I’m sure made the wiring a bit easier, although it is pretty accessible it’s nice not having to be on your back doing some of that stuff!

I looked at KC but the output is just not there.
The Rigid seem to be the best alternative. Just need to figure out a good mounting sysyem.
I like the BD, but not to sure about the mounting system.

The linkable setup seems pretty solid. All of them bolted together makes it pretty ridged. Will see how well it does with time but they have a good amount of off road testing.

I think I have done all I can do for today. The fogs are adjusted and so are the Linkables. All I have left to do is wire up the a-pillar lights tomorrow morning. Am happy with doing the disconnect for the front lights, but I really do not plan on having to take that bumper off again. If it wasn’t for the lift, it would have been a nightmare, but I was able to lift and lower until it was lined up and I could get it back on. A couple things for the a-pillar lights. You have to be EXTRA careful popping the moulding off. Also, I agree with everyone’s comments on the BD wiring harness coming off the back of the a-pillar lights. You would think they would be able to do them similar to the fog lights with a wire going to the Deutsch connectors. I did trim out the moulding to be able to tuck the harness under that and run it into the engine compartment. I will get it finished up tomorrow and take some photos of the lights at night.

I was curious how the seven light setup would be. On my Tacoma they come with five linkables and it is sturdy. I must say, I am equally impressed with the seven light setup and how solid the mounting system is for the PW. Seems like the two best options are the BD or the Randy Ellis lightbar. Hey go with the Ellis bar and throw four of those Rigids on there! I bet that would throw some serious light! Plus I’m a sucker for technology, and like how the beam changes with speed.

Really impressive workmanship and write up.

However... SPADES?!? Kidding, somewhat. Why not go with weatherpac, metripack, Deutsch, etc? They're weather tight and look OEM. I mean, I see you used the marine grade stuff, which is great, but spades (or any other solderless terminal) is about the least reliable connection you can use.

HAHA - BUSTED! Ironically I did ordered some Deutsch connectors yesterday when I decided to go ahead and make it so I could disconnect them. I went ahead and made the wires longer than needed so I can change it out when they show up. I agree, I am not a fan of spades, but I am too impatient to wait

Did you not use the center strain relief brackets with the linkable light kit? Not seeing them in the pics (but had to zoom in so may be not showing up. )?

So I learned when doing my Tacoma, it is actually easier for me to adjust and aim them before installing the center support. It takes more work, but once I get the final adjustment done and everything is locked in, I add the support then. I just remove the center light, install the supports and it stays aimed about the same. When I installed it on my Tacoma following the instructions, it was a PITA to get it from pointing down like you were referring to in your earlier post. Oh another trick for adjusting them is I use my Klein digital level on the face of the light and adjust them until each one is at 90 degrees. This way no matter how your truck sits, you have a consistent setting.

Send a picture of the center when done.

I had them all in the same position on the bench. When I adjusted them I didn’t want to mess with the center. So I just adjusted the Luther three as one unit, just loosened the end bolts and they all went at once. Wasn’t bad.

But I may go after it again depending on how your center looks when done :)

And D. U. N. - DONE. Just finished wiring it all up. All I can say is if you want some ridiculously bright a-pillar lights, you will NOT be disappointed with the LP4’s. BD now sells covers for the inside of the light to take away the glare. I went with white and ordered their amber cover just for more options. I will take pics tonight. All in all, not too bad of an install - time consuming, but well worth it. Also, if you have an electronic level, like this Klein - it will make your life a whole lot easier on getting started on aiming your lights.
