Thank you! I wonder if you could take the steps off, pull the plastic cap of the front, then shorten the tube a little so you have clearance?
Check that the step itself can be moved back slightly. I think where the step itself bolts to the hanging brackets it may be able to be adjusted.

It took me a while to get back to this... There is no adjustment where the step bolts down. I did take the steps off, removed the end cap, cut the step rail back 1", redrilled and reinstalled the caps. Looks great now with about 3/4" clearance from the running board end cap to the mud flap.

Anyone with the GatorBack Dually mud flaps (21") can tell me how many inches above the ground they end up being?

Megadave what length front did you go with and any photos from further back available?

Dontslammyram is the film included to protect the paint behind the flap? Very cool if so!

You can make your own...
4- 24x30 Composite mudflaps shipped from Northern Tool for just over $70.
4 weights from Bores MFG for just over $50

A couple of hours with some cardboard and some beer...

I mounted HUSKY they are easy to mount . No drilling look good and contrary to another post they don't fall out . Put them on new 9000 + miles they are still there .

I got the idea to make my own from @1FastHemi ...
Both front and back are 14" in width... just in case I either go with a wider tire at some point or I change out the wheels as none have the same amount of offset as OEM so they will stick out a bit.
I simply reused all the existing hardware... I did drill one hole in the plastic well to support the innermost corner on all four sides, I think Duraflap comes with a clamp..

So I used this image from @MegaDave to make my template for the front:

Basic pattern cut out...

This is the reason for the weird shape on the front flaps:

Held on with some duct tape to make sure they are centered...

That’s exactly the info I needed thank you!! I’m going with duraflaps, but want them to stick out like yours beyond the factory flare for the same reason. I think I’ll have them add an inch to outside vs both inside and out. I really prefer the 12” width, but I don’t think they’ll be able to shift the holes/cut a full inch. I know I could just make them, but time is money and it will cost me more to make them in the end both time and money. Thanks again for the great info!!

Totally understand it is a time/money thing... I like to make things and wasn't in a particular hurry to get it done.
And it does appear they offer a 14" wide flap...

Just for a follow up I put the rear DuraFlaps on. I chose the extra long stainless. They mount really solid. I like them so far.

If anyone talks to megadave tell him to check his inbox I’m hoping to see some photos of his truck/flaps from further back and looking down the side of the truck
