May be a dumb question but I need some guidance. I've been towing a 2021 Keystone Passport GT 2951BH with a 2019 1500 Laramie but just recently bought a 2022 2500 w/6.4. I use an Equalizer 4 point WDH, do I need to buy the 6" drop shank to accommodate for the height difference of the trucks?

I don’t have a camper. But I do have a Big Tex 16foot flat deck trailer.

Here’s my experience: I had a 2018 Titan S all stock before my RAM. That Titan will be very similar to your old 1500. I didn’t need any drop hitch with that truck. The trailer hooked up perfectly to a regular hitch.

I currently have a stock 21 2500 Tradesman 4x4 and I need a 7in drop to connect the same trailer and have it level. I bought the B&W Tow and Stow 7 inch drop.

Just shows how tall these newer Rams are.

Thats what I was thinking, just saw some pictures on here of what looks like the shank that comes standard with the hitch so I wanted to make sure, thanks for the reply.

Yes you would be better off with the drop shank, i dont use a WDH but if you already have it

Finally found an enclosed unit that fit the intended budget. I just can't get how people are paying $12k+ for something like this here in CA.

This interior space on this is 22' long, 94" inside width. Should be able to get full size sport quads side by side in this thing along with a 2 seat RZR.

Any ideas on a quality epoxy floor covering? This trailer has 1" solid oak floor and I'd like to coat it for easy spill cleaning.

Dont go epoxy go with a polyurithane or similar coating epoxy will not like the flexing the trailer will inevitably do

I did. Had a 2013 1500 & also use the Equalizer WD hitch. There was a significant enough difference with the 2022 2500 hitch height to merit a new drop shank. I bought the 2.5" with 6" drop from Equalizer for pulling the same trailer. Works great.

I agree, how or why people pay over a third of what the trailer is worth is beyond me. Even in today's world. It definitely is a sellers' market.
