How tight were the trails for the PW? I haven't been up there in a couple of years and never in a full-size.
I went up the back side of Danial. They were tight, but I never felt I couldn't make it through. Even though a couple spots I had to be extra careful. The real issue is traffic coming from opposite direction and finding a good spot to pull off and get that PW out of the way if you don't have the right of way. I'm going back and want to do the Wolves Den trail. It's supposed to be somewhat challenging and narrow. Then again, they said that where we went was going to be narrow. It was funny. No one could believe I was taking my truck up and over the rocks and the trail. I had a few tag along just to watch. I guess because it was shiny clean. I told them that's what PW is made for. The 37's definitely helped. Once I engaged lockers and sway bar disconnect. The PW went right up. Once I get my sliders, I'm going up front side of Danial. Can't wait!

There was a guy coming down the (black hills, sd) Camp 5 creek bed in a brand new lifted Gladiator Rubicon with 41s as we were going up it in our RZRs this past weekend. Thought he was nuts, I'd never take my baby down those rocks...

Planning a day there this summer to go riding in my buddy's jeep. I sure hope it's the same day you go. I'd love to see the PW in action!

AnthonyD, Who makes the bed rack system you have that uses the utility group bed rails, and second how much spacing (vertical) did you lose with the bed slider? BTW NICE setup!!

Randy

Front Runner rack.

The bed platform sits 4.5" high and the rails that sit on the edges sit 5.25" high. Keep in mind the bedslider is installed on the raised part of the ridges that run front to back in the bed. So you'll want to measure off the ridges when checking clearances.

Put together a spare tire mount to get ready for my 37s that are getting put on this weekend. I used one of the Fabtech kits. I just had to make a mounting plate that would work with my rack.

Soon, I'll cut the bolt down so it doesn't protrude into the bed as much.

I dig it. If you flip that tire over would you fix all that protrusion on the underside of the rack?

Yes, but then the handle bars for the mount would stick up over the roofline of the truck. I'd rather not have that. I'll just cut the bolt down.

Edit: I just got done cutting that 1" bolt down. Angle grinder cut through it like butter. I left about 1" of the bolt protruding in case I ever want to go with wider tire. Ordered a rubber cap to go over the end of the bolt so I don't split my head open if I'm ever under the rack.

Well sh!t
Now I want one of those instead of my are

edit: never mind they’re $8000
I paid $6400 which seems like a lot but a quality topper and rtt are going to be pushing $10. buddy has an RSI and a james barud xxl on the way and he paid around 4200 for the cap and the tent is 5200. I will ultimately into mine for just over $600 because it came with beef bars and with those it is too tall for my garage with them and they are like everything else backordered so they will sell quickly.

I think that is a decent price. I have a Dethloff rack being built and an existing Roofnest Falcon XL that I will be fitting to it and I think its right along there in terms of costs. Maybe more.
If your thinking fridge and solar add some cross bars.
