Is this per ramchat or your dealer? I ask bc ramchat says I’m still sitting in Mexico too, but my dealer expects delivery at the rail yard in CA day after tomorrow and as of 3 days ago it was at the border.

I called my local Sales manager and he said same thing two days ago. But I also think he hates me because I talked him down so low on the price. Probably gave me an extremely low build priority. It is what it is. I'm excited to have it and sort of indifferent at the same time. Probably why I haven't tried real hard to sell my Jeep.

Mine was sold below invoice and he gave dealer hold back just to earn my business after 24 years I have NEVER been able to buy locally. So after we showed up with two vehicles from other dealership 30 miles away he was pissed and my sales guy called and told me his boss saw the vehicles and said “Earn his business”. I named my terms and 20 minutes later he faxed me and beat my terms by an extra $1000.
I’ve called FCA daily each morning and chat daily and call dealership every 3 days and mine still sits. They said it’s only day 12 day 14 day 17 in KZ Status and it could be that up to 30 days, but said if it’s still here 6/14 FCA could then escalate it.

I’m finding it hard to believe it went 30 days to D1. Mine was ordered on 4/30 and was D1 by 5/10. And KZ on 5/24 unless yours was just a 1500 or didn’t choose any optional stuff. What all did you order, send pictures.

Just saw you ordered a 3500. My bad. Must not be selling a lot of 3500’s so went through in reasonable time. 9 weeks is probably about right.

Here's my timeline

2019 2500 Laramie Mega Cab Diesel with Rambox (6'4 box)

4/20/19 - Deposit on Order (Dennis Dillon in Boise)
4/22/19 - Entered into computer
5/17/19 - VIN returns an actual vehicle on the Dodge Equipment Listing page
5/20/19 - VIN returns a window sticker on the RAM Window Sticker page
5/21/19 - KZ status (Per Ram Chat)
5/29/19 - On train to Utah (Per call to Ram)
6/4/19 - Roper Utah (arrival 6/4). Awaiting truck for delivery to dealership in Boise (Per call to Ram).
6/6/19 - Shows transferred to trucking company. No delivery date (Per call to Ram). Said to call back in couple of days.
6/8/19 - Still KZT status. Delivery date TBD. Said that system updates only happen M-F so worth only checking then (call was on a Saturday). (Per call to Ram)
6/11/19 - Got call from Dealership that it came in. After PDI and leveling kit install I will fly out and pick it up on Monday.

Lessons learned:

This thread was a big help learning about the online equipment list and window stickers as well as general time frames.

I had good luck with both the Ram chat and calling in. There are several systems they can look in once the truck ships so take advantage of that. I only had one person who was obviously not as experienced as others, but they were all nice and were trying hard to get me info. Kudos to Ram for having good people on the phones and chat and not outsourcing that!

I also learned that it is common for the truck to sit at a rail yard waiting to be loaded on a semi once at it's final rail destination. Mine was there a week, but I've heard it can be 2.

I was told by the dealership to expect 8 weeks. Looks like it will be exactly that.

I think it depends a lot on your dealer and how quickly they submit the order. Mine was ordered by my dealer with in the hour after I left the dealer and I had the VIN and VON #s the same day. Good luck hope yours gets in soon
