Greetings,

I wanted to announce a special for the month of May for the members of the HDRam community. As a thank you for welcoming us to this communtiy, we wanted to offer Mopar Vehicle Protection plans for $50 over our dealer cost for the month of May! We can offer this coverage up to 3 years or 36,000 miles from the in-service date on any Ram HD (or other Mopar vehicle you have in the garage). This represents a savings of $1500-$2000 from list pricing at most dealerships and cheaper than any online retailer. We want to be an asset to the Ram truck community and felt like this would be a great way to help.

How do you get this started?

Please send an email to MVP@grangermotors.com with the following information:

Name
Address
Phone number
VIN
Approximate mileage on Ram HD now
Coverage desired (years and mileage)

The entire process will be handled seamlessly online by electronic signature and a secure electronic deposit. Your contract will be in force within 2-3 business days of completion of the deposit and electronic signature. Mopar's Vehicle Protection Contracts are valid nationwide and will update electronically within their system showing your contract status, so you won't need a paper copy of the contract to bring with you, should a repair be necessary. It will all show up on Chrysler's VIP Summary.

Have another Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Fiat or Alfa Romeo vehicle you'd like to add coverage to? Our pricing will be $50 over dealer cost as well. This should meet or exceed any other pricing you find online. The process is initiated the same way by emailing MVP@grangermotors.com with the information above.

This offer is good for anywhere in the U.S. with the exception of the state of Florida.

Again, we want to thank this welcoming community here and appreciate the opportunity to help wherever we can! If we see enough demand, we are happy to extend this offer further as well.

Zach

Is that coverage in conjunction to the 3/36000 that comes from RAM? Or does that coverage start AFTER the initial 3/36000? I'm trying to determine if it's worthwhile coverage for someone who is buying brand new.

So it starts based upon the in-service date. There is an added surcharge at 12,000 miles/12 months and then again ast 24,000 miles/24 months. So it is most cost effective to purchase it within the first 12 months of 12,000 miles.

The coverages available are Maximum Care (5000+ Components), Added Care Plus (800 components), and Powertrain Plus (350+ Components).

Mileage Coverage can be as little as 4 years up to a maximum of 8 years and 125,000 miles.

If you're within 3 years but over mileage, are you out of luck?

Correct, you still need to be under the factory warranty coverage for us to be able to put a contract in force. Mopar holds us accountable to this and we cannot perform an inspection on the car, unless it is local to us to mitigate fraud risk of a pre-existing condition. One of the downfalls of selling across the country.

Are you going to be doing this special in June when my truck will hopefully be delivered?

Even though I really appreciate the offer, Zeigler with payinfull is $150-250 less on every yr/mileage/deductible that I've compared so far than the $100 over cost quotes from Granger.

Example for my PW, looking at a 7y/100k/$100, Zeigler is $2500 and Granger is $2670. For a 8y/125k/$100, Zeigler is $3800, Granger is $4055.

so for my 2020 PW for $200 deductible and 7/85000 Granger was $1680 and Zeigler is $2045...

Zeigler's quote for a 7y/85k with a $200 deductible of $2045 is BEFORE applying the payinfull discount code. Once you apply the code it drops to $1680 as well. I don't know why there's such a disparity between Zeigler and Granger on the lower deductible, higher mileage plans.

I just compared the 3 different places mentioned in the forums and found Granger and Zeigler to be quite comparable, in fact identical from the plan I'm looking at:
$2,065.00 - 8yr/100k/$200

Prices do change for plans based on current vehicle mileage, IIRC 0-12k/12-24k/24-36k are the levels with cost increasing every level up so your quote looks like it came from a sub-12k mile 2500. I confess though that I didn't and have never priced out a $200 deductible policy, did you check the same regarding $100 ded. policies? I have no dog in the fight, other than finding the best deal. The policies are seller agnostic, in that they are the same exact thing regardless of where you buy them and Granger is doing a good service here in providing another high quality vendor for these contracts at a low markup. I just found on the specific policy terms I was looking for that one vendor was lower. I found the same thing in regards to Zeigler vs Hayes (Winkles) as well when I shopped for a MaxCare for my daughter's new (to her) CPO Jeep, I ended up with a 8y/125k/$100 from Zeigler for the same price as a 7y/100k/$100 from Winkles. Not sure why Zeigler was doing better on the higher term, low deductible contracts but just wanted to pass along the info so no one paid more than they had to for these warranties.

TLDR, get multiple quotes from all the discount vendors and be sure to apply any coupons. Cheers.

How do i buy a 125000 mile warranty
Email granger at the link in the 1st post and/or check with any of the other mentioned vendors. 7 year goes up to Unlimited mileage, 8 year goes up to 125k. Deductible choices are $0, $100 or $200 per event, prices adjust accordingly.
