We have been seeing a lot of cool pickups up for sale in recent weeks. This 1974 Dodge W200 Power Wagon Crew Cab 4×4 is said to have been refurbished by fitting an early-1990s-style grille and lighting, installing a 5.9-liter (360 cubic inch) Cummins turbodiesel inline-six-cylinder engine, assembled over a 1996 Dodge Ram 2500 4×4 chassis.
Painted in Gray and featuring Yellow and Orange pinstripe decals, the exterior of the truck features chrome-finished bumpers, power side steps, classic Dodge Ram hood ornament as well as an early-1990s-style grille, headlamps, taillights, and tailgate.
The Power Wagon is fitted with Gold-colored 17-inch Beadlock-style Method wheels wrapped with 37-inch Nexen Roadian MTX tires. To give it more of a tough look, it has a 6-inch lift with Bilstein dampers, progressive coil springs up front, and leaf springs in the rear. A Wilwood hydro-boost braking system has also been installed, ensuring great stopping power for the massive pickup.
The interior has been refinished with leather and vinyl upholstery complemented by walnut trim and a tuck-and-roll headliner, at which time sound-deadening material was added to the cabin. Front and rear bench seats have been reupholstered in Black, while rubber mats help protect the Black flooring.
A Viper alarm system with GPS tracking, bump sensors, and remote door locks have also been added to the Power Wagon. A rearview mirror that incorporates display screens for the front and rear cameras and an Alpine sound system with four 6-inch x 9-inch speakers with two 10-inch subwoofers in a custom enclosing. Even wireless charging has been fitted to the pickup.
The 5.9-liter Cummins turbodiesel also features some updated performance, with a FASS fuel system, a 4-inch exhaust, an aftermarket radiator, a K&N performance air filter, and a remote oil cooler with an auxiliary fan. The Cummins is mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission and two-speed transfer case. Both front and rear differential lockers are controlled by switches inside the cabin.
The odometer shows 153,393 miles on the engine, while chassis mileage is unknown.
The truck will be up for auction until this Sunday, September 25th on BringATrailer.com. For more information, photos, or to bid you can visit the auction page.
