Ram Brazil To Support Brazilian Rodeo Events Among COVID-19:
Events To Help Raise Money During Pandemic...
Just like the United States marketplace, Ram Brazil has a big association with rodeo events held in Brazil. Recently, the truck brand launched its updated Ram 2500 Laramie pickup in the Brazilian market. Ram 2500s have been a centerpiece of the Brazilian rodeo and it was shown in the press material of when the truck was launched in the market, late last year. But now, even with the COVID-19 pandemic hitting the country of Brazil spiking, the Association of Rodeo Champions (ACR) has decided under careful consideration to start its Stars of the Arena series without an audience on-site.
Like many other sports, a normal audience will not aloud on-site, however, the series of eight events over the next four weekends (on Fridays and Saturdays), will be covered on Brazil Rural TV. Ram Brazil has decided to continue its support of the series, to provide entertainment for those stuck at home during the crisis.
One of the great personalities of the rodeo in Brazil, an owner of Ram trucks since 2007, and the brand’s Brazilian ambassador announcer Almir Cambra has pointed out that all precautions to avoid the COVID-19 are being taken. Both in terms of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as masks and gloves and the limit of people involved in each roundup. According to the press material, there will only be 35 people taking part of the event, with no more than 4 people in the arena at a time.
Cambra will unleash its powerful voice in the broadcasts of a very special platform – the bed of a 2020 Ram 2500 Laramie. “It is a pleasure to have the support of the Ram brand in this action that brings a little entertainment for those who like rodeo and still have a noble mission ”, he says. In this case, the announcer refers to the contributions that viewers can make to the Hospital de Câncer de Barretos of São Paulo. Viewers will be able to use a QR code on the live screen and simply point there phone or tablet at, to make a donation.
The Ram 2500 Laramie will serve as the winner of the nights, podium to take an “Olympic Lap” around the arena at the end of the night. Among those who were named to compete are Edevaldo Ferreira, Marco Braghiroli, Rafael Barbosa, Ademir Candido, and Magno Alves.
