What made you pick THAT model when you ordered your truck?

Then I guess call me an old school millennial. I like the knobs to turn. Plus and this is subject to one’s preference but I think it also looks better. Either way, at the end of the day, we all get to order what we want.

Amen to that! Everyone has their preference and that's what's great about these trucks.

Tell me more about this "old school" millennial you describe and where do we find several million of them come November?

All over the woods around here in PA. Stay away from State College, and the 3 big cities and there are quite a few of us!

I researched the hell out of it 4 months ago and I thought the C/C engine was the same as a normal SO engine. There's no option for the HO, I know that. I'll have to dig back into it and refresh my memory.

Edit: Ok I checked it out again and it appears the SO engine is 370/850 and the C/C engine is 360/800. The 360/800 is what I remembered but I didn't realize the std SO engine has a bit more.
Negligible in my opinion. Sounds like you have a bad ass truck.

My selection came with a little different twist. Since I prefer a flatbed truck for 5th wheel towing, I shopped both a standard 4dr 3500 long bed truck and a chassis cab version. I would have done the regular pickup deal and removed the bed if there were enough reasons to go that route but the chassis cab truck got me some things that I actually preferred. I got the SO Cummins/Aisin combo which I really hope is what I was looking for for fuel economy and longevity, not to mention it's cheaper than the HO and should be plenty adequate from a power standpoint. Also got the dual tanks which was a big want for me. Should get me in the neighborhood of a 600 mile towing range which fits my application very well.

As far as the Limited package, I'll admit I'm getting spoiled by all the comfort features. I seem to only shop for leather anymore after having a few leather trucks. Also, when you live in your truck for days at a time, it's nice to really enjoy what's around you, little things start to mean a lot. I'm partial to power heated seats, full power mirrors, steering wheel audio a cruise controls just to name a few. Also looking forward to seeing how the auto dimming headlights and rain sensing wipers work. I think I'll really like the pearl white with chrome and a black bed. I'm not a grandpa yet but maybe closer than I think. The only high priority box that I couldn't check is a light colored interior. Nothing new, seems everyone has dropped the light colors and went back to black. I'm old enough to remember how hot black interior vehicles got here in the Midwest in the summertime. Thought we were smart enough not to go back there but I guess I overestimated some. I went with the Indigo/Frost so at least some of it is light.

Btw, long time GM convert here giving Ram a chance. Trading off a 2021 3500 High Country with the Wonder front clip. I think the Ram is a better looking truck now, fwiw.

We have similar trucks for similar reasons. Mine being a Laramie instead of a limited. I went with an aluminum bed which matched up well with the chrome bumper and side steps.

I get the knobs thing, just be aware it's still all digital on the inside.

I was going to order a tradesman dually - HO - max tow - 4.10's. The ultimate workhorse.

For me the trim level didn't really matter. Just knew I wanted the "top of the food chain" Cummins HO and Aisin. My cousin is a really good salesman and got me to drive off with the truck I have now and am very happy with it.
