What did you do TO your RAM today?

So got truck last weekend since then:
- avs bugshield and window deflectors
-painted exhaust black
-undercoated truck
-cut and painted with bedliner a cargo divider out of a 2x6, cant stand stuff sliding
- installed new weight safe 8" drop hitch
- gas cap
-12" screen protector
- cut 1/4" plywood reinforcement for rear flat floor and made additional support for both sides.(may need to sleep there plus helps dog)
-full turtle wax ceramic treatment
-seated all fuses/checked fluids
-adjusted tire pressures
- installed oem mudflaps
-played with ton of settings
To do;
-install carhartt sest covers that get here monday
-figure out how to turn off the headlights edge that never turn off

Heading out in couple days for deer and elk scouting in high country plus some trout fishing and bear bait site prep so get to live out of it for couple days and test her out. So far very happy!KIMG1172.JPGKIMG1172.JPG

I slept back there on the ride up to WI and back , I'm about 5'10" and 230 and the fold down was pretty supportive.
However, I'm too tall to lay out flat... one end or the other needed to be propped up so I could fit.

Badly needs a wash but it took the wife and I to one of our favorite trailheads. The more I look at it, it also badly needs 35s. The stock 33s are super tiny.

Repaired a rock chip bulls eye on the windshield. Looks better but I’ll still know it’s there.
They do not stay new for long.

Installed the Air Lift WirelessONE compressor on the mega this morning, just gotta button the wiring up once the kid goes down for a nap. Didn't want to mount a tank on this truck, wanted as simple as possible and this seemed to be the solution to having on-board air for the bags.

LED Bed Lighting
Added a couple LED light strips to the bed. Simple and inexpensive. I tied in to the existing OEM lights at each end. I think it’s a huge functional upgrade for under $30 bucks.

Windshield tinted with Crystalline 70% & 30% brow and two fronts done with Crystalline 40% to keep visibility good for towing. Also installed Mopar bed step, Mopar chrome exhaust tip and Mopar bug shield. Also got the front Mopar mud guards on but struggling with the rears as I can’t fit the rivet tool in without taking the wheels off and it’s too dang hot for that currently.

Washed and waxed for the first time (didn’t even bother with the wheels). The dust here is going to wreck it by next weekend but trying to soak in the fact that’s it’s clean for the next 24 hours.

I'm debating between the OEM bug guard and the AVS bug shield II, how does the OEM fasten to the hood?

I’d be curious to hear how the hood shakes with that on

Avs has a white painted one to match your truck. I'm holding out for a billet silver avs deflector

How about we keep this thread to actual stuff you did to your truck? Like turning wrenches or doing mods?

EVERYONE puts in fuel and def and orders crap from Amazon and makes service appointments with their dealer. Enough already.

6 clips and then screw on, I had basically the same one on my 1500 with zero complaints, no chance of it flying off like some of the other brands.

I've got to turn a wrench to put fuel & def in, does that count. Or how I monitored my gauges and reported what they did in what conditions . Any opinions on how we define what each of us does to our trucks
