I just put in my order last week. Having the access to fleet pricing really helped me as my initial negotiations weren’t getting me too far. IMHO ordering a Tradesman with every available [Tradesman] option is definitely getting me the the best bang for my buck.

Just place a factory order with Auburn Chrysler outside of Seattle - Sales manager is Phillip Olson and is super helpful and responsive. A 2500 4x4 Laramie Megacab.
MSRP $74,675, Invoice $69,699, Sales Price $65,150. 12.8% discount vs. MSRP and 6.5% lower than invoice. Whatever incentives are in place at time of delivery will be applied at that point. Only fees dealer is charging is $150 processing fee and a $15 temporary WA tag.

I live in San Diego so will fly up to Seattle then drive back home visiting friends, etc. The fly and drive option works for me since I don't need truck asap. Aaron from Mark Dodge was also great, and was only a couple hundred dollars higher - but a much further drive. I have heard that he can assist with shipping anywhere in the US.

This isn't an infomercial for these guys - just refreshing to deal with them - completely transparent. When I first started shopping the local dealers told me that there was no discount for factory orders since my order would be "taking away production" from dealer orders. I took their word for it until I learned better (I haven't bought a car since my 99 Grand Cherokee factory order, still driving it) and things have changed in the last 20+ years:) My next step was to sign up with the Tread Lightly charity - for $100 you get a FCA Discount certificate that entitles you to 1% below Invoice - even on factory orders. I got the certificate number pretty quick and was able to get a couple of offers from local dealers at 1% below - but no better. So that's when I reached out to the high volume guys in Washington, Louisiana, and Idaho. Never heard back from the Idaho dealership - they sort of flaked. I then took the 6% lower than invoice and shopped locally, but there was no budging. I know it's not for everyone, but I expect to keep this truck a while so wanted to order it just how I like it, and have the luxury of not having to get something quick. Refreshing to know that you can order a factory order and still get a decent discount, even at 1% below invoice.

That sounds like an awesome deal!

A quick question, there's tax deduction according the value you trade in Texas, then this amount cannot be avoid if I buy out of state, right?

I don't know about Texas but in Arkansas the trade in amount is deducted from the sale price to determine sales tax no matter which state we buy or trade in.

In New York if you were to trade in a vehicle on a $60,000 truck and the dealer was giving you $20,000 for it. You would only have to pay tax on $40,000 of the cost because you already paid tax on the trade in vehicle when you originally bought it.

Quick question. I see your a fellow Arkansas resident. Hope your staying warm wherever your at. Also, did you try any Arkansas dealerships or did you just go down to Louisiana to purchase?

I went on autotrader.com and looked in a 500 mile radius. Mark CDRJ had the best prices in the while region as far as I could tell.
And by the way I'm a lineman so I've been trying to make sure everyone stays warm. Lol

Was mark easy to work with. The price that was on the website was what you got it for or did they try to add a bunch of stuff or the numbers changed because of where you live. And we appreciate what you do for sure. Stay warm!

I got it for the price listed plus "doc fee" of $219. That being said, I didn't have a trade. Sometimes trades change numbers depending on if you're upside down or not.

Yeah I get that. On my 19 1500 I tried to go up to Laura dodge and I got all the way up there to tell me the price couldn’t be honored because Arkansas was in a different sales region and it was going to be like 3 grand more so I walked and drove all the way home.

I almost went to Laura, until I found Mark. The truck I got at Mark had everything the one at Laura did plus the auto-level air suspension and Night Edition for only $200 more than what Laura did. That's $2700 more in options for only $200 more in total price.

Contact Angelo Picornell @ Mark and tell him I sent you. His number is 337-244-2428. I told him which truck I was interested in and to draw up the deal. He called me back about 30 minutes later and the deal was done. Now I just have to wait for the snow to end and clear out so I can go pick it up.

I’ll do that! I’m looking for a powerwagon and they don’t have me on the site but I’ll ask him.

So glad you posted this. I placed my order with them yesterday. They had the best price by far.
My MSRP was just under $48,000, and I am getting the truck for 43,000 plus about $500 in fees. And, that includes me buying a set of takeoff tires and alloy wheels from them.
I am only about 400 miles south of them (a $49 plane ticket), so I will fly up there and make a nice day trip driving it home.

Just got my 2021 Tradesman 2500 with Towing Tech on Wednesday. I think I did pretty well. $49720 MSRP; Heritage CDJR Parkville MD came down to $42780 plus tax, tags, doc. My out the door was $45976. Love the truck.

Hell yes. Thank you for posting this. I had placed an order with the local dealer. MSRP was about $80k and my sale price was $100 over invoice for $75,500 ish. Contacted Phil at Auburn and ordered a slightly more optioned truck with MSRP of $82,660. Sale price is $72,200. Saved me over $5k. Flight will be under $100 there and a couple hundred in fuel to take a nice drive home and visit friends and family on the way. This is awesome. Can’t wait.

Yeah, before I ordered mine I had contacted several dealers, including Dave Smith motors. Phillip Olson smoked the other prices.
