Price negotiated from MSRP

Just gonna throw this out there, as I am picking up my truck next week ~17th....if anyone wants to pm me their offer that they cannot use I'd be super internet grateful. ;)

Perhaps you will get more traction if you offer $500?

Fitzgerald Auto Mall of Lexington Park, it's up in Maryland. I work with Caroline. Craig at Koons was offering pretty similar pricing but since I have a history with Fitzgerald, I went with them again
Thanks for this dealer info. I live in Maryland and am hoping to order a Mega cab dually 6.7 in the next few months and it's great to know that I have 2 dealers close by that can work with me :)

Can't recommend em enough. I work with Caroline purely through email and she's extremely responsive and just overall great to work with.

Fixing to sell my 2016 once the 2021 arrives. Looking throught he paperwork, I see I got 17.09% off msrp when I bought it Nov 2016

The custom build that I am looking to order comes to $48585 MSRP.
My local dealer quoted me "about $43,000" but wouldn't give me an exact number until I put a deposit down and actually order.???
Dave Smith said $46,616! Hose monsters.
Larry Miller Ram in Boise said that they couldn't beat the price from my local dealer.
Makes me wonder if my local would start tacking on extra fees when I go to order.

I just bought my first Ram 3500 Laramie Limited. Hopefully I can take delivery next weekend. I bought it from Mark Dodge Chrysler Jeep in Lake Charles, LA and I got 12% off of MSRP. The Truck Listed for $89,240 and I got it for $78,531 plus $219 doc fees. (I know doc fees are basically fluff for the dealership but their price was the best I found on any comparable truck by far and didn't feel too violated.) I didn't get any rebate money, just dealer discount. I also got an awesome 1.49% APR from my credit union. The truck has almost everything except the 5th wheel / gooseneck towing prep group (I have no idea why they would order it that way) and they are having a B&W installed.

The buying process can be annoying as well as the post buy. The sales guy tells me how great the truck is yada yada yada then I talk to the finance guy. He tells me how expensive repairs are and that trucks are so complicated you need to buy warranty. I politely interrupted him and said I don’t buy warranties and never never have. With all the money I have saved over the years on warranties I can afford to fix anything that breaks. He gave me a funny look and proceeded. The sales guy pulls out a copy of the customer survey telling me how I need to answer.

Now the post buy.....nearly a dozen emails, 3 texts and 2 phone calls. I finally lost it on the last phone call.

......and they claim to be customer focused.

My buying process was simple. I went to Autotrader.com and found the trucks I with the options I wanted and a price I could live with. I contacted the dealership made the deal and the sales manager called and had about a 2 minute conversation about extended warranty, all the sales numbers and then he sent me the buyers order.

As for the post buy...that is yet to be determined. I definitely know how to ignore or block phone numbers but I really hope it doesn't come to that.

Yeah that's pretty much the standard routine. They all do it.

Can someone give me an idea what to expect off msrp on a powerwagon before incentives/rebate

From what I've seen ~10%-13% off MSRP on '21 HD orders/builds seem to be where most have landed. Obviously some much less (around 6%).
I don't believe PW pricing is drastically different.

I think part of it depends on your region of the country Ostracized is right, about 10-13% sometimes lower. Go on autotrader.com and you can get a pretty good idea of what they are going for near you.

Just place a factory order with Auburn Chrysler outside of Seattle - Sales manager is Phillip Olson and is super helpful and responsive. A 2500 4x4 Laramie Megacab.
MSRP $74,675, Invoice $69,699, Sales Price $65,150. 12.8% discount vs. MSRP and 6.5% lower than invoice. Whatever incentives are in place at time of delivery will be applied at that point. Only fees dealer is charging is $150 processing fee and a $15 temporary WA tag.

I live in San Diego so will fly up to Seattle then drive back home visiting friends, etc. The fly and drive option works for me since I don't need truck asap. Aaron from Mark Dodge was also great, and was only a couple hundred dollars higher - but a much further drive. I have heard that he can assist with shipping anywhere in the US.

This isn't an infomercial for these guys - just refreshing to deal with them - completely transparent. When I first started shopping the local dealers told me that there was no discount for factory orders since my order would be "taking away production" from dealer orders. I took their word for it until I learned better (I haven't bought a car since my 99 Grand Cherokee factory order, still driving it) and things have changed in the last 20+ years:) My next step was to sign up with the Tread Lightly charity - for $100 you get a FCA Discount certificate that entitles you to 1% below Invoice - even on factory orders. I got the certificate number pretty quick and was able to get a couple of offers from local dealers at 1% below - but no better. So that's when I reached out to the high volume guys in Washington, Louisiana, and Idaho. Never heard back from the Idaho dealership - they sort of flaked. I then took the 6% lower than invoice and shopped locally, but there was no budging. I know it's not for everyone, but I expect to keep this truck a while so wanted to order it just how I like it, and have the luxury of not having to get something quick. Refreshing to know that you can order a factory order and still get a decent discount, even at 1% below invoice.

Sounds like you are getting a good deal, and I am going to call those guys that you are dealing with later today.
Thanks for posting the information.
