My New Ram 3500 arrived Damaged

I did a lot of thinking on this as far as gear ratios, most of my driving will be without a trailer attached. I have a heavy piece of equipment (about 30k LBS and 14ft wide) that I move about 3 to 5 miles 3 or 4 times a year at a speed no greater than 45 mph and may have to take it to a shop or somewhere once or twice a year which is only 15 miles away. I have another trailer that is lighter which I haul my lawn equipment (about 10 to 12k LBS) from my farm to my residence about every other weekend and back which totals about 35 miles round trip. Most of the ground is mostly flat around here with no hills and most of my towing is on County or City Streets No Interstate. This is why I settled on the 3:73 gears. I didn't put a lot of miles on the vehicle I am trading in as it pulls it all very well. Its a 2006 Ram 3500 with I believe 3:23 or 3:55 gears (what ever was standard for that year) and it has the 600lbs torque diesel engine with only 83k miles on it now. This new truck should be a nice upgrade, 400 more Lbs of torque and stiffer gears than I have now. However, I will consider the 4:10 gears before I place the order.

Update:

After the long ordeal with the first truck I had order that came in damaged, I finally was able to get a New order placed. I went over every thing with the Sales Manager (No sales person was involved with the ordering this time.) I hope this one arrives safely.

If you would like to follow the Re-Order of My 2020 Ram 3500 HO Laramie Longhorn, Follow the attached thread.

Thanks to everyone for your help and assistance through this hard time.
