How do you mount the module? Were there existing holes there?I just completed my install in my 2026 RAM 3500 the cargo camera works but I can not get a image from the side mirrors.
I hope I'm not beating a dead horse. I have read a lot of threads, but I can not find anything related to programming BCM for 2026 HD Rams. I am trying to config the side mirror cameras too the DRVM. Does the programming require a security bye pass cable. Which cable and the location of the plug in if required.
I ordered this one from ddoffroad.com and it works great on my 2025. Easy installation other than: I had to order longer Fakra cables than came with the kit to route them the way that I wanted (from module under driver seat, up B-pillar and along edge of headliner to DRVM and CHMSL) and the right angle FAKRA connector from cargo view cam of my old CHMSL did not fit the different orientation of the cargo view cam connection on the new CHMSL so I had to order a FAKRA extension with a connector that fits. I did,as has been mentioned by others, lose autodim functionality of my outside rearview mirrors. I would like to find out if there's a "open a gateway/ reprogram with alfaOBD/ dealer proxy realignment" process that works to get autodim functioning again.I have tried this set from a company local to me and it works

The inputs on the module will only work with the proper cameras. The surround cameras and the DRVM cameras are made by different manufacturers and won’t talk to each other.I ordered this one from ddoffroad.com and it works great on my 2025. Kind of off topic thought that probably doesn't belong in this thread: The underseat module that I installed for the DRVM has additional FAKRA inputs (TRAILER, RHOSM,LHOSM). I do not have the side mirror cameras but I wonder if I could locate the module/surround view camera processor and find where the input from the turn signal activated blind spot cameras or surround side view cameras plug into the module. If I put a FAKRA splitter on the cables from those cameras before they enter the surround view camera module/processor and send a cable from the splitter to the RHOSM, LHOSM inputs on the DRVM underseat module would that allow me to toggle to a split screen 3 camera view on my DRVM (with blindspot view instead of side view camera)? I tried plugging a FAKRA cable from my old CHMSL cargo camera into the TRAILER input on my new underseat DRVM module and still could not get the DRVM to switch views to that by hitting the far left button on the mirror that is supposed to switch screens so I'm guessing it wouldn't work plugging blind spot camera inputs into the side view camera plugs on the module. My DRVM or the module may not support this...
