Will alfaobd work on the 2026 Ram due to the updated security in the BCM

With extra hardware and an AutoAuth sub to unlock the SGW. Dealer will need to do a proxi alignment.

I just completed my install in my 2026 RAM 3500 the cargo camera works but I can not get a image from the side mirrors.

How do you mount the module? Were there existing holes there?

No existing holes, drill and install blind nuts

I just put some double sided adhesive under the legs and tucked the legs into the carpet flaps. Seems to be holding in place just fine.

I hope I'm not beating a dead horse. I have read a lot of threads, but I can not find anything related to programming BCM for 2026 HD Rams. I am trying to config the side mirror cameras too the DRVM. Does the programming require a security bye pass cable. Which cable and the location of the plug in if required.

The average peasant can't make changes to a 25+ truck with the new Atlantis architecture.

Bypass can only be done by unlocking the gateway using AutoAuth subscription and a supported scan tool (xTool A30M recommended), OBD splitter cable, AlfaOBD, then you still need a dealer visit for module proxi alignment or another $2K for a Mopar Diagnostic Pod (MPD) and WiTech subscription to do the alignment yourself.
