doubtful. The Stellantis roadmap through 2023 is heavy in BEV and PHEV expansion. RAM is supposed to deliver a battery powered pickup in 2024. I’d love to see them do a hybrid HD with a gasser. The 6.4 is 429 lb-ft today, add an electric motor on the flywheel for another 200. Add a 35 kWh battery and you would have 25 miles of electric only power (which is surprisingly utilitarian for around town trips) but the real benefit is getting all that torque right off the line for acceleration that pushes you into the back of the seat and when cruising gives you 2x the MPG off gas alone. It helps them with fleet fuel economy for regulatory compliance, lessens their dependence on carbon credits, and gives customers a hot ride in a no-compromises truck that they already have.Wonder if that is a blanket statement for all lines, or just the cars? Perhaps they have a new more powerful non hemi engine in the works to compete with the Ford 7.3?
possibly, it really comes down to what they replace them with. There will still be sentimental value that drives actual value but not all things appreciate in value just because they are no longer made. All the 5.7 and 6.4 hemis are going to be worth a lot to people then when they officially discontinue them.

I get it. I have an 812 Superfast and that car has gone hyperbolic in value this year because the realization is setting in that this will be the last naturally aspirated V-12 that Ferrari makes. It is a send off model. I think Dodge is doing the same with the Challenger, Charger, and TRX by opening up the Direct Connection parts catalog.True. But the 5.7 hemi is a iconic motor. Even if it isn’t the best motor Chrysler/dodge put out. People love their hemis.

Nice. I didn’t know they were doing a direct connection parts catalog. That’s good.
