New 21 3500, although I don't need it now, I sure would like to know where the heck that cord is?

your truck may not have come with the cord, but it will have the heater element. it's installed in the block near the oil filter head.

All Canadian trucks and those with the cold weather package will have a cord with the plug behind the license plate.
I looked up there but didn't see anything, guess I'll take a better second look.

If not there, just buy the cord and install it. The heater is already in the block. Genos has a neat bumper plug and there is a magnetic plug available elsewhere.

Buy the cord where? Dealer I assume?

After you get the cord installed pickup one of these flush mount extensions from noco its 20$ Makes plugging in much better especially if you have anything upfront like a plow like i do

So it IS there, but man, you really have to be looking to find it. Thanks for the advice!!!

I looked all over for mine on my '21 model, I then took it to the dealer and 3 mechanics spent about 20 minutes, 2 youtube video, and a few peeks at their maintenance manuals to find it.

Mine was in the lower air dam on the R/H side tucked way up in the air dam itself.

Don't feel bad. On my truck, two of us looked for it and did not see it. Then when visiting my son he finally found it. Traced cord from block to finding it well tucked in above front plate holder. I think they put it there before the plate holder was attached.

Mine is right by the license plate frame , just behind it on the right side of truck. I did order mine with block heater though so its just the cord i paid for like others say.

I routed mine out the side of the lower grille. OEM cord was not hard to install. 2021 Tradesman 2500 4wd.

I ordered a NOCO. We have ports at work at several parking spots to plug extension cords into.

I run the same one for making it easier to plug it in with the plow on

Since I have a tradesman with no fog lights I am thinking of mounting it in the center of the pass side fog light plastic cover and putting some black foam insulation behind it to seal against the ridges in the cover when I tighten it down. That way its handy.

I thought about it but at least this way its not sticking out like a sore thumb

I installed my NOCO in the pass side fog light cover today. I think it looks pretty clean
