I looked up there but didn't see anything, guess I'll take a better second look. All Canadian trucks and those with the cold weather package will have a cord with the plug behind the license plate.
If not there, just buy the cord and install it. The heater is already in the block. Genos has a neat bumper plug and there is a magnetic plug available elsewhere.I looked up there but didn't see anything, guess I'll take a better second look.
Buy the cord where? Dealer I assume? If not there, just buy the cord and install it. The heater is already in the block. Genus has a neat bumper plug and there is a magnetic plug available elsewhere.

So it IS there, but man, you really have to be looking to find it. Thanks for the advice!!!If not there, just buy the cord and install it. The heater is already in the block. Genos has a neat bumper plug and there is a magnetic plug available elsewhere.
Don't feel bad. On my truck, two of us looked for it and did not see it. Then when visiting my son he finally found it. Traced cord from block to finding it well tucked in above front plate holder. I think they put it there before the plate holder was attached. So it IS there, but man, you really have to be looking to find it. Thanks for the advice!!!
Mine is right by the license plate frame , just behind it on the right side of truck. I did order mine with block heater though so its just the cord i paid for like others say.New 21 3500, although I don't need it now, I sure would like to know where the heck that cord is?
A temp controlled plug like GM uses would be perfect for you no need to unplug the block heaterView attachment 25187Installed a NOCO receptable with a Y connector to power an on board trickle charger and the block heater. I just disconnect the block heater when not required.
I run the same one for making it easier to plug it in with the plow onI ordered a NOCO. We have ports at work at several parking spots to plug extension cords into.
I thought about it but at least this way its not sticking out like a sore thumbSince I have a tradesman with no fog lights I am thinking of mounting it in the center of the pass side fog light plastic cover and putting some black foam insulation behind it to seal against the ridges in the cover when I tighten it down. That way its handy.
