It is warming up the block with the coolant so in turn it does heat the oil some the temp may have been risidual from the block where the sensor is threaded in i Dont think in the cold it will warm the oil that muchI plugged mine in for a hour this morning just to make sure it worked (34 degrees here) After 1 hour oil temp was at 84 degrees, water at 77 degrees. It actually does warm up the oil. Thats good because that was my biggest concern.
Center of the front bumper its zip tied there look from the bottom you will see it just above the air damJust got my truck home after a 5 month wait. WTH, ya order the cold weather package and it doesn't come with a frickin cord to plug into? I spent 20 minutes tonight lookin for it. Maybe that's why I couldn't find it?
