2025 RAM HD Builds and Orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

I'm guessing they are moving along due to the possible tariffs that are going to hit. My dealer said don't worry about the price, you are locked in. Hard to believe if a tariff of 8 or 9k is added that they will eat the difference.

Newer orders still seem to be moving quickly. I ordered a 3500 Limited Mega w/ Rear Air at the end of Feb; it is built and dealer is expecting it on or around April 11th. Also have some 285/65/20 Defender LTX platinum waiting for the dealership to swap onto the stock wheels before I pick it up.
Let me ask you this. Do you have a window sticker yet? My dealer also told me mine was shipped but still no window sticker.

I heard back that my truck is in the US and is being unloaded to the carrier.

As to tariffs: They would have to weigh out the cancelation of the contract against the cost of maintaining the inventory. (you would not be obligated to purchase due to the price agreement, but they can still cancel your order)

Strictly speaking to economics (there are political aspects), those who advocate for protectionist tariffs should really look into the 1930's and the Smoot-Hawley act. The consumer always eats the cost. Even with increasing domestic production, reducing competition almost never results in lower prices. Any gains in wages and employment will be offset by cost. ....we've got about 3 decades of toothpaste to get back into that tube, if restoring domestic production is the goal.

So interesting info I got today. I got the build sheet and window sticker. KZL-D status. Scheduled to be on the truck 5/25 to dealer. I know the D in the status is delayed but not sure what KZL is. My last truck was KZ and KZN when it was shipped. Anyone knows if this all makes sense.

I went into one of the older build/order threads and its remarkable how consistent the threads are. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

My salesman is off on Thursday so I knew I wouldn't get an update today, but I just happen to pull up the tracker this evening and now my tracker says my truck has shipped, so the update I received yesterday must have been accurate. The e-mail I received had a message from a "sales field rep" and it said, "truck is about to hitch a ride on a train bound for Texas". I'm guessing it will probably have to switch trains before it heads to Nashville, TN. Tracker shows truck shipped March 19th with ETA of April 15th. For those that have had their trucks delivered was the ETA on the tracker close or did the truck come in quicker or longer?

Looks like the Cab n Chassis models are at the back of the production schedule line
Order was confirmed Jan 25th with no movement since maybe should have ordered a standard truck and flatbed it myself I'll just continue to wait patiently....

The tracker is pretty much completely useless. Mine is showing "Built" for the last 1.5 months. I spoke to my dealer and he says it's been sitting at a lot in Texas since 2-20-25. NO IDEA why it's been sitting in Texas for close to a month now. It's really amazing how inefficient these car manufactures are.

My brother ordered a F 350 back in Oct. It still "scheduled for production".

KZ LD – Departing Mixing Yard

Most of the codes are in this sticky:

Anyone else know why the Laramie mega cabs are making it to the US and then getting delayed? Do they need additional parts when they arrive?

My Crew Cab is sitting at a train yard 20 mins from dealer in “General Hold” per Union Pacific.

Not sure - Rockman mentioned a flash update delay here: https://hdrams.com/forum/index.php?...-here-new-users-read-post-1.16534/post-340172

As to being stalled in the yard, my '08 was held at a yard awaiting payment. On the second week I got involved with Chrysler's corporate accounting, and they were able to release it that day. I happened to work down the street from their office at the time - perhaps not a conventional move, but they were very accommodating.

I can't imagine why they would keep them at the Rail yard waiting a flash.
I thought they were able to flash them remotely now.

Mine was built 3/11 so I’m not sure it needs the flash. Prob got misflagged as needing it and it’s there rotting with the others while I chomp at the bit. Could technically be here in a couple days yet here we are. Proj delivery date 04/14

It could be as simple as getting paid. The yard will hold onto RAM's trucks until they are paid, or the carrier that is to pick them up might want to be paid... There's more to logistics than just logistics :)
Overall, it seems like things are moving - clumsy as it may look. I just keep checking in, watching reviews, and seeing the other kids get their slice of cake. It will be our turn soon enough.
