Thanks for the review. I have been considering stepping up from 35’s to 37’s on my bighorn with the hemi, and was curious about mpg, power loss etc. Your review answered a lot of my questions.
Yea, I hope I never have a need for these, but it’s cheap insurance. I hunt, fish and camp in a lot of very remote spots in PA and NY. So if I ever have a problem with the truck in the middle of nowhere, I’d like to save my headlamps and flash lights if I need to hike out.
This is exactly the same thing thats been happening to me. My next trip to the dealership for service, I am going to have them look into this. It’s definitely a white smoke. It doesn’t happen all the time, just randomly. I also have a fairly noticeable coolant smell coming from the engine bay...
Does anyone know if the 12.1 bezel from a 1500 will work on the 2500 trucks? I have a Bighorn with the 8.4 and was thinking about changing to the 12.1” screen, but the only bezel I can find that matches my current trim is from a 1500.
I recently swapped my factory bighorn wheels/ tires for AEV 17’s and load range E 35’s. I run them at 52 psi in the front and 55 rear. It rides really well. Just make sure you have your psi dialed in. It makes a huge difference.
I have a ‘23 with the 6.4 and currently at 8,900 miles. For about the last 1,000 miles I will get a decent puff of smoke from the tailpipe when I start the truck. Sometimes the smoke is barely noticeable and sometimes it’s quite a bit… like starting an old lawn mower. The smoke is white in color...
I added the oem wireless charger to my ‘23 a few months back. There is an orange/blue lin bus wire behind the center stack that you can tap into instead of trying to get up under the dash.
I’ve been looking at marketplace for a while now for new wheels and tires. I noticed that here in the northeast new take off power wagon wheel/ tires are listed for $2K. But to be honest, the 2 sets that always seem to pop up in my searches have been on there for a month or 2. You might make out...
Nice, thanks for the info. He said he has the coils, bilstein shocks, track bar, endlinks, steering stabilizer and some miscellaneous hardware. Any idea how much higher the PW sits than the non PW rams?
