My 21 does the same thing. I have noticed that if I have more than a week of putt around town between highway speeds the next time it is on the highway the soot load jumps up 1 or 2 EVIC levels. If I stay above ~65mph for more than ~20 mins it will passive and drop 1 level (and another 20-30...

I'd first get a can of contact cleaner to disconnect and clean each sensor connection. No sensor reset I'm aware of other than their own on/off.

If you're trans temps are not climbing higher than comfortable I wouldn't personally run one. There's a reason why the thermal non-bypass is installed in the first place so that the trans fluid temp can get where it needs to be for the health of the transmission. Having it bypassed an open all...
