Cummins Power Finally Comes To The Power Wagon

Begs the question if the Rebel will still exist. Will the “base” gas PW get regular 2500 suspension and 10kGVWR, and then offer the gas model a “suspension upgrade” package with the reduced GVWR suspension kit?

Cummins Power Finally Comes To The Power Wagon

Based on images, no articulink radius arms; likely has stiff springs/not long travel like the gas PW. Unfortunately it kind of muddies the water with regards to aftermarket parts. Before the PW was unique and a lot of things didn’t fit, so mfgs would say does or does not fit PW. Now they may...

    Diesel Power Wagon for MY2027

Stellantis has announced the 2027 Power Wagon will be available with Cummins 6.7L Turbo Diesel No winch due to intercooler. Gets locking front and rear axles from the regular PW but sounds like upgraded 38mm rear axle shafts Sounds like they figured out how to package the swaybar disconnect...

OEM Block Heater Kit for 2019+?

Did some more digging, good news / bad news. Bad news: I don’t think the heater is pre installed like @wrvond said. Good news: I assumed the heater went into a freeze plug, meaning you might loose coolant/messier install; but it looks like it goes into a “dry well”...

OEM Block Heater Kit for 2019+?

Denver area, our winters are variable, but usually average 20F at night thru the winter months; cold fronts will see a couple of times a winter with sub-zero temps. No, not necessary to have a block heater. But, would be nice to have heat a bit sooner, and engine will be a bit happier if it’s...

OEM Block Heater Kit for 2019+?

The heater element is already installed?! On the Hemi 6.4? Holy hell that’s amazing if true. I’ve had this truck for 6 years, have always wanted the block heater (would have ordered it if I had done a custom build) but it seemed like more trouble than it was worth so I never really looked into...

OEM Block Heater Kit for 2019+?

Would like to add the OEM engine block heater onto my 2019 2500 6.4L The kit on the Mopar sites shows it’s only for up to 2018 model years…I would think it would still work, but maybe they changed some things (cord routing?) on 2019+? https://www.mopargenuineparts.com/sku/ramhdengineblkhtr.html...

    2026 Vs 2018 Early Observations

Looks like both 2018 and 2019-2025 have the same coolant capacity (16.6qt). That’s not to say things, such as the radiator and overflow tank size haven’t changed, but it seems to coolant capacity hasn’t increased. I would expect that the major changes happened in 2019.

    Let's talk tires

Anyone running the BFG HD Terrains?

    Let's talk tires

Rotating does not add life, necessarily, but if you replace all 4 at the same time based on the worst single tire… There’s not much you can do with alignment on the rear of these trucks, and limited amount on the front. Generally, the fronts wear quicker/have more edge wear since they have more...

    RCV Axle Shafts

Is it your u-joints that you feel are binding / hopping, or just the driveline bind/wind up in general? I have found that this truck definitely feels like it binds up easily in 4WD, even on snowy parking lots. I am guessing it normally releases thru rear tire slip/hop rather than the front. I...

Swap column shifter to dial in ‘25/‘26 trucks?

Ah yeah I have to take my wallet off to use the MagSafe holder, not quite enough magnetism on the cardholder. I liked the ProClip, but I definitely felt it was blocking a lot of airflow from that vent; and the MagSafe is quicker/easier to throw my phone onto I find. I switch between my Ram...
