Has anyone converted their 2019-2024 2500 Hemi with the shifter dial to a column shifter? Now that the 2025+ models (both Hemi and Cummins) all have the electronic column shifter with the ZF transmissions I’m thinking a retrofit conversion might be possible?
It sounds like it’s essentially just a package: basically a 4x4 ccsb tradesman with Hemi 6.4, packaged with 4.10s, dual alternators, vsim, aux switches, 18s, and skid plate. It may have specific spring rates, but they don’t mention it so maybe not…I feel like that’s something they would mention...
I put a bit more info in my build thread; but yeah it does add a fair amount additional space to the back seat area if you are willing to remove the seats/ don’t use them.
Building your own might be a better option if you have the time and tools. I only bought this because the price was right...
Just some thoughts:
- doing the 60% only means I still have 1 back seat, so it’s not full send.
- while the install wasn’t very difficult or time consuming (maybe 30 minutes, including some adjustments), the seats are heavy and it was just involved enough that I probably wouldn’t really consider...
Did some internet sleuthing, looks like this is the source thread:
https://www.ramforum.com/threads/5th-gen-seats-and-console-in-4th-gen-2500-with-floor-shifter.222008/
Turned out well, I will probably ape this. I like that it doesn’t involve cutting into the console, which I was hesitant to...
Just wanted to share this thread from another forum site. I’s a 4th gen but they but 4.5gen console in it; but they figured out a nice solution for the transfer case shifter. I will be trying to ape what he did on mine, as that has been my roadblock to getting this console installed...
Found a decent deal on a used Goose Gear 60% rear seat delete.
In all honesty, the load flat floor in these trucks is pretty good, but I almost never have passengers in the back seats, so why not.
Quality is very nice, I think they are way overpriced though.
Initially I used Tazer Ram on my 2019, adjusted the tire diameter but thought I needed a dealer to do the TPMS so I just lived with the TPMS warning light all the time for a couple years. Annoying, but livable. At least the screen always showed the tire pressure on start up so you could monitor...
That is frustrating for sure. However, having worked in the fabrication business, sometimes you receive parts from a supplier and they don’t meet spec; or during fabrication a mistake is made and a component has to be scrapped. Or, there may be a higher priority order that jumped you in the...
TransferFlow states their 46gal fuel tank for Hemi is only certified for use in 2021-2024 due to changes in the Evap system; with no intention to certify/make a version for 2014-2020 due to cost of certification (surprising to me; since thats leaving a lot of 6.4 owners out in the cold; and 4th...
Tons of rear bumpers on the market so I’m not going to add a rear-bumper section to this post. But, it is neat/unique feature with the drawer for those with 37’s and not able to use that space for spare tire.
