Chassis Unlimited front bumper?

Good morning.

Has anyone here ordered/installed a Chassis Unlimited bumper on their Power Wagon? I hit a deer a while back, and on November 6th I placed an order with Chassis Unlimited for their Diablo Front Bumper, paid via CC. I ordered over the phone and was told 6-8 weeks to get it. It's now been 4 months (17 weeks) and I still don't have it. I get emails from them saying it's delayed due to material shortages. My most recent email I got was on 3/2 saying the tubes just arrived and they were waiting for production to begin.

I really like the Baja style that incorporates the OEM winch into it. But I am beyond tired of waiting.

I'm getting a bad feeling.

On March 2nd, I got an email (from Fidel) saying the Tubes arrived on Friday (2/27) and they are working on assigning orders. Mine was on that list.

I hear nothing for 2 weeks. I email them Wednesday March 18th asking for an update. I get an email (this time from Rick) saying that they have encountered supply issues with getting the tubes needed. I emailed back asking why I was told the tubes arrived 2 weeks ago?

No response.

I'm about ready to cancel this order. 17 weeks is crazy long. Addictive Desert Designs makes a winch bumper. It's not my favorite, but at this point it is better than nothing.

That is frustrating for sure. However, having worked in the fabrication business, sometimes you receive parts from a supplier and they don’t meet spec; or during fabrication a mistake is made and a component has to be scrapped. Or, there may be a higher priority order that jumped you in the queue (not what you want to hear; but it happens). I think you would be within your rights to want to cancel the order though.

I spoke with someone on the phone today. Apparently the tubes they received are not the tubes they were expecting, so the supplier messed up. Chassis Unlimited is looking to see what options they can offer me.
