Ordered a Ford. I got tired of games. It was a toss up. I like my 2019 Ram 2500. I liked the F-350 and the Ram 3500 about the same. I guess I have to hang up my Ram card for a bit.
Affiliate Rewards told me today that they don’t know when they will add the 2022 models. If I can’t get a local dealer to at least agree to the 1% I’m going to buy a Ford and be done with it. I can get the Xplan and move on. This shouldn’t be so difficult.
The price is there. It’s literally 1% below the Invoice price that shows on the screen. They told me that the control number wasn’t “valid” for the 2022 model. But I will call today and tell them that it shouldn’t matter. The affiliate site doesn’t specify year. Plus by the time they get it it...
I have a control number but the dealer said it’s not good on 2022 models. What’s weird is that the affiliate website doesn’t specify year it simply says Ram 3500.
Slight issue with Affiliate Rewards. I initially was going to order a 2021. I was told I had to order a 2022. Affiliate Rewards didn’t account for 2022 models yet. Dealer isn’t going to do the pricing with no code. Anyone know when they might re up the models? It’s sad because GM added 2022...
Worst experience ever. Met sales manager who looked at me and said "just so you know, I hope you got something to drive because If you trade it in you trade it today. That's how we order trucks around here"
I walked out
It’s the same now. Offers are brutally low. Not close to what they are selling for or what kbb shows. I have a few other dealers I am meeting with today. I am confident they will go better.
I literally haven’t driven a 3500 because there are zero around nj. I looked last summer and found none as well. No 1 ton srw trucks. I have a 2500 gas and it doesn’t ride too bad. At work I have a 4500 and it really isn’t bad but it is also loaded up with stuff. Both of those trucks are 2019s...
I need it to tow my 5th wheel so I can’t sell it until I get a new one. I’d try to sell it privately but I prefer to get an offer I can live with from the dealer as a backup. Lowballing me that much is a non starter. I won’t agree to bad terms at this point. I don’t owe much on it but business...
So that went not well. They are willing to go 1% below invoice per the affiliate program but then offered me 44k for my truck which is worth minimum 48k. They came up to 45k and I walked out. Time to go to another dealer. My truck has 11,000 miles on it. I get that they are in it to make money...
Im looking to order a 3500 with a hemi for pulling a 10500 5er. Going from a 2500 which didn’t have auto leveling rear I wonder if it’s worth adding? I don’t see many builds on here with it. Is it not worth it that much? I guess with a fifth wheel it’s not really rear end squat as much as it is...
